At first glance it may seem that all the best shopping centres have lots of features in common – a wide range of products, pleasant atmosphere and attentive service. But upon closer examination, it turns out that every centre is unique, has a different atmosphere, a particular selection of stores and brands, and makes its own contribution to sustainable trading. Some shopping centres offer the excitement of discovery for those searching for the latest fashions. Some welcome families with children. And the entertainment that is offered also differs from centre to centre. With the help of this guide to Estonia’s best shopping centres, which has been compiled by the Best Guides experts, you will always make the best choices, no matter what you wish to buy.

Tallinn

A trend -conscious shopping city.

Tallinn has been a rich trading city since the Hanseatic era. Setting the beat of the city

Viru Keskus is the most visited place in Estonia providing a first-class retail mix combined with high-quality entertainment and wellness services. Culture and trade meet in the pleasant environment of the Solaris shopping centre. The stores on the design street offer a wide range of high-quality Estonian and Nordic designs. Tallinn’s sea gate

Located between the passenger port and the Old Town, the Nautica Centre is like the city’s sea gate. Within walking distance of the D-Terminal and the city centre, one will find almost 60 shops that are focused on international brands and youth fashion. This includes: Tradehouse, Estonia’s largest professional beauty department store, with a thousand square metres of space, filled with a representative selection of professional hair care products, cosmetics and beauty accessories, HEMTEX and JYSK home furnishings stores. In addition to the shops, Nautica features the largest indoor golf centre in the Nordic countries, a casino and several restaurants offering various cuisines.

ARSENAL Center

Outlets, cafés and other shopping in an old firearms factory

Arsenal Center is located in a century-old former Tsarist-era firearms factory, where industrial red brick walls are contrasted with modern design to create a special and unique atmosphere. Between the trendy neighbourhoods of Kopli and Kalamaja, the center includes food stores, specialty shops, services, eateries and offices. Arsenal’s cafés and restaurants serve a wide variety of foods from sushi to burgers, from pizza to pastries. Tallinn residents love Ülemiste East Tallinn

The Ülemiste shopping centre, which has been named the best in Tallinn and Harju County for the seventh year, has more than 200 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. The centre is organised into hubs, i.e. the shops are organised by category, thereby making shopping more convenient. Ülemiste is the first shopping centre in the Baltic countries to be given BREEAM Communities sustainability certification. And the ICSC has also presented the centre its prestigious European Shopping Centre Award. There is excellent transportation between the city centre and the shopping centre, which is only two kilometres away. And it’s only a short walk from the airport.

Several brands found nowhere else in Estonia, or even in Finland, are represented here. The shopping centre has a wide range of fashion shops: Zara, H&M, Massimo Tutti, Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Lingerie, Guess, Hugo, Gant, Denim Dream, Lindex, Mango, New Yorker, Reserved and many others.

Food

The Ülemiste Centre has a wide selection of eateries to satisfy all tastes at all times of the day. These include many national cuisines, such as Lido restaurant, the flagship of Latvian cuisine and BabyBack Ribs & BBQ, Estonia’s most famous family restaurant. Also McDonalds; Estonia’s first Kentucky Fried Chicken; Burger King, MySushi and much more.

Entertainment

Apollo Kino’s multiplex with six screens offer the centre’s visitors high-quality cinema experiences and the absolute best in European cinema technology. In addition to movies, you can also watch performances in the Apollo Theatre. One of the best places to spend time with your loved ones is at O´Learys entertainment restaurant, where you can try your hand at bowling and enjoy sports broadcasts. The largest shopping center in Estonia for interior design and home furnishings

The Järve Keskus is the most beloved home furnishings and interior design center. The approximately thirty interior design and home furnishings stores include several exclusive stores, including the Aatrium Sisustuskaubamaja, Unolik, Rave Mööbel, Saunamaailm, Stuudio 143 furnishings store and Skano Home. Tallinn Airport LHV Lounge

The newly renovated Airport LHV Lounge makes the start of your vacation even more enjoyable! At the Airport LHV Lounge, you can relax, work, or spend time in a more peaceful environment for up to three hours before your flight departure. There is a conference room available, as well as private spaces for working. Entertainment includes large TVs, and there is a cozy play area for families with children. The Airport LHV Lounge is the only spot in the airport with an outdoor terrace.
