Direction for Use Sentinel is available in four different packs categorized according to dog weight. Weigh your pet and select the relevant pack. Please check the package table for details. It is necessary to get your dog checked for existing heartworm infection. Consult a veterinarian before starting Sentinel treatment and get your pet diagnosed for any such infection. If the dog is not infected then you can start administering Sentinel on a monthly basis. You can give flavored tablet directly into the pet’s mouth or crush and mix with the dog’s food. Monitor that the dog takes a complete meal to check if he has taken a complete dose. In case the pet does not finish the full meal then re-dose immediately with full tablet. Treat puppies at 8 and 12 weeks of age followed by monthly treatment. Give monthly dose to adult dogs. Administer Sentinel tablets to breeding and pregnant females at mating time, prior to whelping and then on a monthly basis.
