Zenturo® Super is a complete fencing solution with a high design content. The panels can be used as single panels, but the concept also allows the creation of gabion walls. When used as gabion wall, a wide variety of infills can be chosen.

Zenturo® Super BENEFITS Extremely high strength Zenturo Super panels are exceptionally strong due to the narrower meshes (compared to Zenturo panels). Functional Design Zenturo Super panels are stronger than Zenturo, through the narrower meshes and thus making them ideally suited for gabion walls. In combination with the Zenturo post concept and associated spider fixings, a wide variety of infills can be used to create a personalised aesthetic look. Easy installation The Zenturo Super panels can be combined with the residential post systems: Bekaclip posts (to be mounted with collets) or Bekafor Click Posts (with pre-installed polyamide clips) or the Zenturo post system (with spider fixings) for gabion walls. High longevity The coating technology of Betafence is state of the art and guarantees a high longevity. After galvanising an adhesion coating is applied for a perfect bond with the final polyester coating. Easy installation The system is easy to install. All elements are precisely integrated. The Decofor system allows installation between and on walls. Complete system There are 3 types of Decofor: Arco (convex), Recto (straight) and Wave (concave). They all exist in diferent heights, with assorted posts, swing gates (single or double) and installation accessories. All of one uniform design.

Fixation of the panels to the posts by means of metal fixing collars (galvanised and plastic coated) and with security bolts M8 out of stainless steel with self breaking nut.

Coating technique Panels, posts and gates are first galvanised. Afterwards an adhesion coating is applied for perfect bond with the final polyester coating. The minimum coat is 100 micron (panels) and 60 micron (posts and gates).

Post and fixing systems Securifor can be installed with three different post types: Rectangular post system (p 124) 80 x 60 x 2,5 mm or 120 x 60 x 3,0 mm (depending on the post length). The posts have a single row of M8 threaded inserts. The panels are fixed using specific fixing pieces or full length coverplates and one-way bolts. Bekafix Super post system (p 121) Lateral fixing of the panels with special metal security clips with bolts. Welded tubular posts (100 x 54 mm) in H-shape with punched holes for positioning/fixing of the panels. Panels are fixed laterally on this post, with special spider fixings and one way bolts. Posts are provided with a plastic cap. Bekasecure post system (p 125) The Bekasecure postâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s design and high yield strength steel provide the ultimate in high security, rigidity and ease of installation. Posts have a double range of holes 10 x 20 mm and the panels are secured with a continuous cover plate and specific inox security bolts. The open profile of the post (patented) allows for electrical or fibre optic cabling and is closed with specific metal cap. Post profile - 140 x 120 x 3,00 mm (h. fence > 3 m and < 4.7 m) - 140 x 150 x 5,00 mm (h. fence > 4.7 m)

Panels The panels are made of heavy, high security welded mesh of 2518,6 mm width. Several panels can be installed one above the other. Panels in one piece up to 6 m high are also available. For maximum security the mesh is: 12,7 x 76,2 mm (H x W), with a 4 mm wire diameter. Weld strength: 50% of the minimum tensile strength of the wire. In tests, performed by specialised police departments, the mesh had a delay factor 40x greater than other standard fence products - a vital requirement to capture potential escapees. Fully tested to comply with the security standards in Europe. Gates The Securifor system is supplied with matching gates using the same high security mesh infill as the fence. Single or double swing or sliding gates. Coating technique Panels made out of galvanised wires. An adhesion coating is given for perfect bonding with the polyester coating (min. 100 micron). The panels are also available coated in Zincalu Super (95% zinc, 5% aluminium) or galvanised and polyester coated for long life protection. Colours (p 142) Green RAL 6005 Zincalu Super coating: on request. In total Betafence offers 7 Classic colours and 3 Prestige colours (Metallic or structural coatings). Options The top of the panels can be reinforced with a U-profile, available in steel (to be fixed with bolts) and in aluminium (clippable - see pictures above).

Securifor ® 358 Dublo Benefits Secure and discreet A superior system for providing security where a discreet visual impact on the immediate environment is required. The twin vertical wires, welded on either side of the horizontal wires, add rigidity and a proven 30% improved delay factor. Vandal resistant Anti-Cut: Robust wire and weld joints make cutting very difficult using conventional bolt or wire cutters. Anti-Climb: No toe or finger holds due to small mesh apertures. Good visibility The panels have excellent visibility characteristics, due to the flat two dimensional profile the fence appears almost invisible. The panels are fixed to posts using stainless steel (M8 x 40 mm) countersunk flushlock bolts and shear nuts.

Securifor® 2D/2D Varimesh Benefits Secure Securifor 2D is the ultimate heavy weldmesh panel for providing the highest degree of security with the most discreet visual impact on the environment. The rigidity of the panels is further reinforced by the inclusion of 6 mm vertical wires and the addition of double 4 mm horizontal wires at 152,4 mm centres to the inside face of the panel. This product is ideally suited for applications that require high rigidity and where tresspassing is prohibited. Vandal resistant The finger-and-toe-proof mesh profile combines an anti-climb and anti-cut panel with excellent visibility and resistance to vandalism. Panels Panels are available in different specifications in a full range of heights from 1.0 m to 2.4 m. All panels are constructed from rolled hollow section horizontal rails with both round and square vertical tube infill. Different railing styles are available to suit different requirements, both visual and security performance. Bow top options are ideal for applications where safety is of paramount importance; for example, the enclosure of children’s play areas. Where security and deterrence are required, circular or diamond section straight pales with angle-cut tops to deter climbing are ideal.

Unique fixing system Black polyamide spacers are inserted into each end of the horizontal rails and are connected to the post with a pin. Solutions for intermediate, endand corner posts are available.

Posts Posts are made from 60 x 60 x 2 mm section steel tube. The tops are finished with plastic caps. Gates Barofor Square and Round railings can be perfectly integrated with the Robusta range of single and double swing gates. Luxanet

Luxursus Luxanet is a resistance-welded fence, made of galvanised low-carbon steel wire and plastic-coated afterwards. The weave and weft wires are welded at the intersection.

Mesh Mesh sizes are 76,2 x 76,2 mm. The Luxanet netting has an extra wire on the top and bottom mesh where the netting is most vulnerable. This double edge gives it extra strength. Wire diameters 2,20 mm

Luxursus is woven out of galvanized & plastic coated low carbon steel wires. The vertical wires are braided and form an arc on the top.

At 25,4 mm from the top and at the bottom, the mesh is reinforced with a second selvedge wire (except for Pantanet Light). Coating technique The rolls are made out of galvanised wires. A pre-treatment process garantuees a perfect PVC coating adhesion to the product surface. Gates The Pantanet system can be completed with the Fortinet and Robusta swing gates and the Robusta sliding gates.

Round Steel Posts (p 110) In and outside galvanised with a min. layer thickness of 275 g/m2 (2 sides combined) following Euronorm 10326. Galvanised and plastic coated with polyester with a min. layer thickness of 60 micron. Mesh Welded mesh (50,8 x 50,8 mm), from galvanised wire, electrically welded at every intersection and then plastic coated. The horizontal wires have a crimp at every mesh. The wire mesh of 150 cm and higher has barbs of 25,4 mm at one side, to be placed at the top or the bottom. Length of rolls: 25 m Coating technique The rolls are made out of galvanised wires. A pre-treatment process garantuees a perfect PVC coating adhesion to the product surface. Gates The Fortinet system can be completed with the Fortinet and Robusta swing gates and the Robusta sliding gates.

Posts (p 110) Welded tubular round posts. Tensile strength of the steel: 320 à 510 N/mm², according to EN 10326. The tension- and intermediate posts are completed with a wire holder at 40 mm from the top of the post. The posts in height 3100 mm and higher have a wire holder every 495 mm. The wire holder is made out of a polyamide reinforced with glass fibre and supplied with a stainless steel staple. The posts are completed with a plastic cap. For vegetation the distance between the posts and the diameter of the posts has to be adapted to carry the additional weight.

Coating technique The steel wires are galvanised and then plastic coated. The posts are galvanised insite and out (min. coating 275 g/m2, both sides together), in accordance with Euro norm 10326. Afterwards an adhesion coating is applied and finally the posts are plastic coated (min. 60 micron). Robusta plus motorisation with dead man key: The dead-man-key version comprises the FAAC motor, its control logic and a key switch, requiring no other safety devices on the gate. On a dead-man-key gate a key switch is mounted on the end post. Robusta plus motorisation full automatic version: Gate is factory-fitted with an external motor and all necessary safety devices are delivered to site fully pre-wired and ready to operate. Bekamatic motorisation: another version of the cantilever sliding gate with a fully integrated, protected motorisation. Guidance of the gate - Guiding posts and end posts with welded ground plates. - The guiding posts have 2 guiding rolls at the top and an integrated base plate for the installation of 1 set of guiding rolls that is situated in the underbeam. - Special guiding posts with integrated electronics are used for motorisation. - The end post of the non-motorised gates have a lock system integrated. Tension system The frame of the cantilever sliding gate features a carefully engineered tension system which assures perfect alignment of the underbeam at all times. Coating technique Robusta gates are treated with the best coating processes available: galvanised in- and outside (minimum 275 g/m2, 2 sides combined). Afterwards an adhesion coating is applied (epoxy) and finally the gates are plastic coated (polyester) (min. 120 micron both layers together). Motorisation Bekamatic For the Bekamatic motorisation, the motor/reductor is integrated in the guiding post. This type of automation guarantuees a perfect operation in extreme conditions. A mechanical locking system prevents the gate from being opened manually once the gate has been automatically closed. Manual unlocking system A manual over-ride system disconnects the motor from the gate and permits manual opening and closing of the gate. Controller Betafence has developed a high-quality steering unit. A control unit with microprocessor manages the general functions and contains the control logic. A separate unit contains the special functions for access control.

Pressure strips The front of the gate wing is fitted with a pressure strip. The guiding post is also fitted with 4 pressure strips: two at the front and two at the back. Any contact with the pressure strips immediately stops and reverses the movement of the gate. At the street side one of the pressure strips can be replaced by a Securifor panel system. Security stop The gates are equipped with a main switch (yellow/red) through which the power supply can be isolated. Access control The controls are designed to be adapted to the special demands of the customer. A choice of multiple access control accessories can be installed: key switch, RF- remote control, key pad, proximity card reader, flashlight on the gate post, digital code keypad, videophone/parlophone, timer clock, induction loop detector. These elements are installed on the guiding post, the end post, or on a separate column on request.

Pressure strips On the front of the wing a safety strip has been installed. The guiding post is fitted with two pressure strips: front and back. Photocells Photocells are installed on the guiding post and end post to guide the passage of the gate. When they are activated while the gate is closing, it will automatically open again to prevent injury or damage to whatever activated the photocells. Wireless photocells are also available. User-friendly installation To ease installation everything is done for you. The Robusta sliding gate is premounted with Robusta Plus motorisation. The dental rack*, pressure strips and photocells are pre-mounted and connected. The motor is installed on a groundplate and only needs to be connected. Cables that join the pressure strips and photocells are colour-coded and easily connected to the integrated control system, and the remote controls are pre-programmed and ready for use.

Detection systems Serir is an electronic point sensor detection system, based on special “piezodynamic” detectors, designed to provide reliable early warning of intruders by detecting any attempt to cut or climb a perimeter fence.

Serir BENEFITS Superior detection Each SERIR sensor is able to detect any attempts to cut, climb and break-through a fence panel. The Serir sensor adds a greater versatility of deterrent usage. Reliable Thanks to the technology used, the system is immune to any environmental nuisances, climbing vegetation, electromagnetic noises and radio frequency emissions, guaranteeing the maximum reliability and detection capability even under severe conditions. Tampering and damage to one sensor does not compromise the functionality of other sensors of the string. Each detector “covers” its own area, avoiding the accumulation of background noises or environmental nuisances. Easy installation Installing SERIR doesn’t require any particular tools. Sensors can be installed on any type of fence, provided that it is in good condition and taut. The sensor is fixed to the fence using a bolt and tightening plate. A special locking cap covers the bolt and prevents it from being unscrewed. User-friendly The accurate choice of components, piezodynamic technology and the quality of the electronic boards provides continued operation with just the basic maintenance. Components of the Serir System The SERIR sensors are supplied as pre-wired strings dividing the perimeter into 50 meter-zones; making the system CCTV compatible. The cable has been designed for outdoor use and adds very good electric qualities to excellent mechanical characteristics. The sensitive element is completely sealed with epoxy and protected by a housing resistant to U.V. rays and to temperatures between -25° and +70° C.

Sporadic cut detection Besides the “traditional intrusion attempts” carried out by cutting the fence, by breaking through or climbing, SERIR is also able to detect a more sophisticated intrusion technique, which consists of making a hole in the fence by making small cuts over a period of time.

Signal processing The SE SERIR electronic board is able to analyse the signals coming from 1 or 4 sensor strings at the same time and independently. The control board allows viewing of signals coming from each sensor string in real time and records all signals detected.

Central management The DEA NET serial network provides integration with other DEA applications and alarm handling. In addition with the DEA Map Management system software, an operator can supervise and increase, at any time, the sensitivity level of SERIR by immediately adapting it to a sudden situation of higher risk, without the installer of the system being present.

That technique is recognized by SERIR and is classified as “sporadic cut”. The signals produced by the sensors string are amplified and processed by the SE SERIR electronic board.

Components of the SabreFonic system The SabreFonic System consists primarely of the sensor cable and processor. SabreFonic sensor cable is designed for use with the Sabre II Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) Processor. This Sabre II processor provides cost-effective linear protection for zones up to 1000 metres in length.

Signal processing Disturbance of the fibre optic sensor cable is detected in the Sabre II processor and analysed using a microcontroller with digital signal processor (DSP). When a disturbance exceeds pre-set conditions, an alarm will be generated.

Special features Automatic environmental compensation algorithms ensure the highest probability of detection whilst ensuring a minimum of nuisance alarms from natural causes. Sabre II is especially useful for integration with third party data collection and alarm management systems. It provides facilities for external alarm threshold adjustment as well as additional input/output for connection of sensors or control devices.

Sabre II is factory set to enable rapid installation and commissioning. Application specific set-up parameters can be adjusted in the field using builtin switches and a LED display. The unit is easy to set-up and install without any test equipment. If required, Sabre II can also be configured and adjusted remotely using the integral serial communications ports and optional software tools. Control management Starwatch is an integrated security management system, providing a true 32 bit environment for access control, CCTV, photo ID badging, security management and perimeter intrusion detection. There is an integral data collection when the processor is used with Starwatch in-built audio assessment capability. Open connectivity and adherence to industry standards are central to the Starwatch design with use of the TCP/IP network.

Components of the Securit System The Securit fence system is made up of the detection panel system, outrigger and integrated signal processing detection unit. Even swing gates can be integrated. - Detection panels: the Nylofor 3D Super Securit panels, with a standard width of 1.20 or 2.5 m and a height of 2.40 m, are made up of horizontal tubular bars, with 5 mm diameter, to which the vertical wires are welded. The typical specific 3D fold of the Nylofor 3D Super panel is applied at a height of 2.4 m. A sensor wire is guided inside the horizontal bars in order to create a detection meshing. The sensor wires are completely concealed thanks to the use of cover sections. The square panels are provided with inserts for the easy mounting of the coverplates and the outrigger.

Signal processing The detection module detects “cutting” or “short-circuiting” of the sensor wires in the 2 adjacent areas. The modules are tele-powered by a low voltage power supply backed up by batteries.

Control management The alarm management is customised for each client. The system can thus be connected to an existing emergency support centre, but the client can also be notified by a text message to a mobile phone. The system can be activated or deactivated using a code keypad on a central alarm control unit.

- Outrigger: An outrigger can be mounted on the panel system. A connector, the folding arm, is mounted on the panel. This folding arm is equipped with a mechanism for the sensor wire. The rotational movement of the arm is blocked by a pin calibrated at a resistance of approx. 15 kg. A standard Nylofor 2D (no sensor cables in the panel) or a Nylofor 3D Super Securit can be used as panels. Any pressure transferred on the upper part of the overhang arm causes a rotational movement which breaks the pin and triggers an alarm.

Basic operation A fibre optic detection cable is woven through the site fencing and through the eye bolt (mounted on the attachment clamp) and thus connects the panels. The control box detects and processes a drop in signal intensity when the cable is bent or cut. An elaborate risk analysis demonstrates the effectiveness of SiteSecure. Signal processing The core of the control box is a specially designed signal unit that allows for both processing alarms from the field and (de)activation of the system from a cell phone. Two detection cables (sender/receiver) are connected for every 100 m (duplex) or 200 m (simplex) of cable. The box further features an intelligent power supply and an emergency battery providing at least 8 hours autonomous operation. The entire system is built into a sturdy box suitable for outdoor use.

Active infrared: technology overview Active infrared is generated by a pulsating infrared light source made directional with an angle of about +-2° using the lens of fhe transmitter cell. The receiver cell located in the transmitter’s cone field senses the infrared pulsations and transforms them into an electrical signal. After analysis by the receiving column, it is the absence of a signal that triggers the alarm. This is how active infrared barriers provide positive security.

Quixolid® posts BENEFITS -- No accessories needed to fix the panels to the posts. Installation is very simple and fast and therefore cost-effective. -- The combination of the Quixolid post and a panel fence, results in a complete and rigid fencing system. No need to cut off the panel curves at the point where the panel is fixed in the profile of the post. -- Once the panel is fixed to the post, it can no longer be lifted out. -- For extra security a lip can be folded over the vertical wire of the panel. -- The finishing of the Quixolid post bears the Betafence signature : a nice rounded shape on the outside that approaches the design of the Bekafix post and invisible slots in the profile of the post to secure the panel.

Panels There are two types of Publifor: Publifor 3-M and Publifor Super. Publifor 3-M This system consist of Nylofor 3-M panels as an infill (also Nylofor 2D Super or Securifor panels can be used). The panels are installed in a concrete base.

Publifor Super The Publifor Super fencing system is a patented system which uses two Nylofor 2D Super panels (optionally available with Securifor panels and cranked arms) on each side. The connection between the elements is done by means of steel connectors and M8 nuts/bolts. The panels are installed in a basement with a galvanized steel plate, filled with concrete. Horizontal beams in the panels ensure extra rigidity.

Posts and fixing systems The posts in the concrete basement have a patented and vandalism-proof connection.

CONI The patented Publifor® system complies with the strict standards of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) and was, amongst others, successfully used to secure various sports stadiums including those of Juventus and AS Roma. The turnstile can easely be moved by forklift through four lifting lugs. At each side of the turnstile fence connections are combined with the Tempofor panel range. Three cable holders under the top box assures that no cables can obstruct the passage of the pedestrians. In case of power failure the turnstile can be locked or unlocked for both directions with an easy accessible key lock

Safety and security The top box with integrated controller on top of the turnstile is made of stainless steel and has a central terminal block for connecting the access control cables. A bi-directional mechanism controls the circulation of people in both directions or one chosen direction. The BF3 turnstile also has an integrated overhead light to ensure the lighting of the passage. The installation of access control equipment is possible directly on the fence. Superior corrosion resistance Zincalu consists of 95% zinc and 5% aluminum. The Zincalu coating on wire consists of a variety of layers namely: • Alloy layer – fusion layer between base wire and Zincalu • Zincalu layer (Zinc 95% + Aluminum 5%) • Aluminum Passive Barrier Zincalu Super is the result of extensive research into the material characteristics by ILZRO and the development of the production processes by Betafence.
