DEMOLITION
ANTICIPATED 2022 The original Goering Hall was completed in 1955 and could house 100 students. The east wing was added in 1963 with room for an additional 96 students. Goering’s last year as a residence hall was the 1999-2000 school year. In 2005, with the completion of Thresher Stadium, the west side became the home of Thresher Athletics and the east wing became a storage area. The east wing will be taken down to make space for the new locker room facility. 10

WELLNESS CENTER $10.8 MILLION One of the values of Bethel College is to provide our students with opportunities to improve their holistic wellness through a balance of mental, physical and spiritual practice. This fitness and wellness center will bring our facilities out of the basement of Memorial Hall and provide space for students to improve their physical and mental well-being.

Siobhán Scarry, a member of the Bethel English faculty, had her new poetry manuscript selected as a finalist for the Dorset Prize from Tupelo Press. The Dorset Prize is a major national competition open to any poetry manuscript written in English.
