BETHEL NEWS SATURDAY WORKOUT SESSIONS Patricia Patrick is running video Age Reversing Workout sessions that individually concentrate on Posture, Pain Relief, Weight Loss, Body Shape, and Zero Impact Cardio. The 2-hour session on April 7 from 9:00AM - 11:000AM will start with an introductory video which emphasizes our need for such workout sessions. The final 5 sessions from April 14th onwards will last one hour from 9:00AM - 10:00AM. These classes are open to everyone at any fitness level. Classes in the Gym. Please bring a mat or a towel.

SOAKING PRAYER The Bible admonishes us to be still, and know that I am God. Sometimes in prayer it is good to just be quiet and in an atmosphere of worship, allow the Lord to speak to you. Louie and Ruth DeBrum will be at the church every Saturday night in the month of April for a time of soaking prayer (8:00PM to 9:30PM). Anyone is welcome to join them.

ART PAINTING & WORSHIP NIGHT Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just a beginner with a desire to learn, come and join Keri Orozco on Friday April 13th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM for a night of artistic painting and worship. You will be encouraged, through worship, prayer, and the arts, to encounter the presence of the Lord. Bring your own materials (we will be painting with acrylics, 16x20 canvas), or bring $7 to cover the cost of everything you’ll need for the evening. All welcome - (no children under 12). Sign up at the Connect Desk so we know how many supplies to purchase.

MID-WEEK BIBLE STUDIES Tuesdays - 6:30PM Class on Overcoming Fear, Anxiety & Stress led by Pastor Keith Patrick. Hymn Sing & Bible Study led by Doug Nixon. Thursdays - 6:30 - 8.30PM Video and discussion class on discerning the difference between God’s Truth and Man’s Truth led by Pastor Keith Patrick, concluding April 12th.

Ukraine Trip

Paul Piffard and I just spent 2 weeks in Ukraine. Our first stop was in Poltava Ukraine with Pastors Vadim and Tanya Ignatenko who have

been to Bethel twice the last two years. What a joy it was to be at this church again! In 2013, this church miraculously got ownership of a very large abandon warehouse. It needed (and still needs) a lot of work, but also has a lot of potential. Pastor Tricia and a youth team from Bethel were actually a part of there dedication service when they very first took possession of this building. What a blessing to see the progress this church has made in 4 1/2 years. The last two years, I have brought Pastors Vadim and Tanya to Canada and introduced them to other churches in Canada and helped in raising funds for this church. I am so thrilled to report that through this effort, they now have heat in their church building and a now there Sanctuary has a wood floor (instead of cold concrete) and they also have the carpet to lay in the next few weeks. I preached a special service on the Friday night. Paul then stayed in Poltava until the following Thursday and ministered 8 times in 5 days, including Sunday services, meeting for cell group leaders, a youth group, and a lunch for business leaders in the city.

After the Friday service, I traveled to Dnipro, Ukraine and preached at Regeneration Church on the Sunday, a church of over 3,000 people. Sunday afternoon I drove 7 hours to Kiev where I began on Monday 5 days of teaching to over 1,000 Pastors and church leaders. My teaching was on the Life and Ministry of the Apostle Paul for 2 hours each day. I had sent my notes ahead of time which they translated into Russian and published into a book to give a copy to everyone who attended the conference. This was amazing to me. My very first book has been published - in Russian! I could never have imagined! Paul would join with me at the end of the week.

GOVERNMENT DISCRIMINATION

While in Ukraine, I learned with all of you the decision of the House of Commons in the Youth Summer Jobs Program. The vote was to maintain the recent decision of the government that in order to receive government monies for youth summer jobs, you have to sign a statement that you support abortion. If you do not sign in support of abortion, you will not be approved. It is incredulous that a Government that says it is for inclusion and equality and the rights of individuals would so blatantly discriminate against pro-life and religious beliefs. It is apparent to many that the next step for the Government will be to revoke Charitable status for churches. Friends, we need to pray and we need to speak up. OTTAWA

I will be in Ottawa on Tuesday April 24th. I have been invited to speak at a gathering of Pastors and church leaders from across the Ottawa region. It is a gathering to pray for our nation and to hear the Word of the Lord. Your prayers for me as I go and speak to leaders in our nationsâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s capital is so appreciated. SPECIAL GUESTS IN APRIL

Our final service was on Sunday, March 25th for the church on the Sunday service where I preached and Paul shared his testimony. Another great missions trip. Your prayers were appreciated!

I am very excited to have Daniel Jackson from Detroit to be our speaker on Resurrection Sunday at Bethel. Daniel has an amazing testimony of Godâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s work in his life. This is an excellent time (being Easter Sunday) to invite unbelievers to our service. They will hear a great story of the reality of our risen Saviour. Then Pastor John Kilpatrick will be with us for one night on April 27th. He is a father in Revival. What a blessing for us to be able to have him come and share the word of the Lord. Make these services a priority.
