OFFICE HOURS The Church Office will be closed on Tuesday December 25th and Wednesday December 26th as well as Tuesday January 1st. The Office will be open on December 27th, 28th & 31st from 9AM to 12Noon.

Our theme this year for our Christmas Eve service is “Behold: An Invitation.” It is based on the verses in Luke 2:10,11 when the angels announced to the shepherds: “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” The word “Behold” means “to see, to look upon.” In the Christmas story we read how both the Shepherds and the Wise Men were invited to behold the new born King. Of course, this invitation goes out to all the human race to behold Jesus the Saviour of the world. Christmas is a wonderful time of the year to invite people to come and behold. There is no other season like Christmas when people are open to coming to church and hearing the Gospel message. This Christmas season at Bethel we offer a number of opportunities to invite friends & family. Let me highlight a few of them...
Christmas Memorial Service December 6th 7:00PM Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year but it can also be the most difficult. Especially for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. It is hard to know how to remember and honour a lost loved one at the Christmas season. This year will be our 3rd year that we are offering a Christmas Memorial service to honour and give a place in our hearts this Christmas to a loved one who has passed. This service is not just for those of us at Bethel, but is also a great opportunity to invite those in our Sarnia community to find a place of comfort this Christmas in this special memorial service. Bethel Christmas Party December 9th 6-8PM Another great opportunity is to invite a local family to join with us for a evening of fun at our Bethel Christmas party. We will be having a horse-drawn wagon rides, fire pits, games, cookie
decorating, and much more. A great way to introduce a family to our church community! Sunday Service December 16th 10:30AM Of course we like to think that any Sunday is a good day to invite someone to church. But December 16th will be a great time especially to invite family members as our Kids ministry will be making Christmas presentations. We will also have Ed Dickson sharing in that service followed by a time in our Lobby with Christmas music, cookies & hot chocolate. Christmas Eve December 24th 6:30-7:30PM Our Christmas Eve service is always a highlight each year. May I encourage you this year to think about someone you could invite to this service. Maybe a neighbour or a co-worker. It is a great opportunity to invite them to come and behold….the story of Christmas.
