ONLINE GROUPS FOR WOMEN With various demands on schedule and family responsibilities, we realize that it can be challenging sometimes to commit to an evening out. With available technology, we have a program that allows for a group meeting online. You can be a part of a group without having to leave your house. All you need is high-speed internet access and a web cam with audio capabilities. Contact the group leader directly to let them know of your interest in being part of an online group.

BETHEL NEWS ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING

Our Annual Members Business meeting will take place immediately after our Sunday morning service on March 6th. Members, please make every effort to be present for this important meeting. Advance ballots are available should you not be able to be present.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS There will be no Prayer or Bible Study on Wednesday March 16th an 23rd. Beginning Wednesday, March 30th at 6:30PM, we will be offering a Bible study on the Message series “40 Days with Jesus”.

SARNIA PRAYER GUIDE The Sarnia Evangelical Fellowship of Churches has produced a 50-Day Prayer Guide from Resurrection Sunday to Pentecost that will help us pray for our city. Guides will be available March 20th.

I want to say a big “Thank you” to all of our Transformed small group leaders for their participation in our recent Transformed series. heard the word “transformational” as various people have described the value of going through this series. As Transformed has come to a conclusion, I want to encourage you to review the lessons we learned together. The Bible says in Romans 12:2 that we are “transformed by the renewing of our minds by the Word of God.” Just as when we were saved, we heard the Gospel and we believed and then trusted in its message for our salvation. So now that we have heard what God says about our identity, belonging and purpose; we must believe it and daily trust in it until it becomes our present reality in our lives. Let us continue to pray, as Ephesians chapter 1 encourages us, for this revelation as to who we are in Christ. It will do more for

We would not normally do another message series with small groups so quickly, but with the success of the Transformed series and this new series on the post-resurrection encounters of Jesus with His followers, we decided that this was a series too good to pass up or wait for another time. The Bible says in Romans 1:4 that Jesus was “declared to be the Son of God…by His resurrection from the dead.” The resurrection is the apex of our Christian faith. Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 15:17 that “if Christ is not risen than our faith is in vain and we are still in our sins.” But thank God, Jesus is alive! And the Paul the Apostle tells us that “after He (Jesus) had suffered, He shown Himself alive to them (His followers) by many convincing proofs.” (Romans 1:3). In this study we are going to examine the circumstances around the 6 post-resurrection appearances of Christ and how those appearances were life-changing experiences for His followers. I suppose that many of us have never done

this type of study before, and so may I encourage you to fully participate in this new series. Get all 6 of the Sunday messages, either in person or from live stream or our website. Get your own copy of the 40 Day devotional book (only $10 and available at the Giving Kiosk in the Lobby). Join a ’40 Days with Jesus’ small group. I believe it will be well worth your investment of time!

Sunday Nights The Lord is moving in a great way in our Sunday night services. We are definitely in another season of refreshing. People are being touched by the Presence of God and being renewed in their Christian walk. What a joy it has been also to see children and young people being baptized in the Holy Spirit. These services remind me a lot of meetings before the Revival season we had in 2006. May I encourage you, if you are not a regular attender of Sunday nights, to come out to the Sunday evening services. You will be blessed! Let us all hunger for the presence of God and lean into that which God is doing in our midst.
