SHUTTLESWORTH MEETINGS
It has become an annual event for us at Bethel in the month of May to have Evangelist Ted Shuttlesworth and his son, Ted Shuttlesworth Junior, lead a week of meetings at Bethel. It is always around the time of Pentecost Sunday when we celebrate the Lord giving us the Holy Spirit. Brother Shuttlesworth’s meetings are always marked with the presence of the Holy Spirit and notable miracles. I would encourage you to mark these dates May 20th to 25th - on your calendar and make every effort to be at every one of the meetings. Invite others in the area to also attend these Holy Spirit anointed meetings. Lives will be impacted and changed by the Gospel. PAOC CELEBRATES 100 YEARS The General Conference of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada is being held in Victoria, British Columbia May 7th to 10th. Pastor Tim & Kim, along with Caleb & Stephanie Courtney, will be attending
this conference. This bi-annual conference is significant this year in that we will be celebrating 100 years of the PAOC ministry in Canada. The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (of which Bethel is a part) is a Fellowship of more than 1,100 church across English and French speaking Canada. More than 235,000 people across the nation attend services in more than 40 languages, with more than 3,500 pastors and ministry leaders. A report of this conference will be shared in the June Connect bulletin. PASTOR TRICIA Pastor Tricia has been appointed the new Women’s Ministries Director for the Western Ontario District of the PAOC. Her time allotment for this position will be 10-12 hours per week. Pastor Tricia will continue to serve at Bethel in her new role as Connections Pastor beginning this summer. Her time allotment at Bethel will be reduced to 75%. The Elder Board affirms this appointment for Pastor Tricia and are glad for her
continued service at Bethel. Pastor Tricia will conclude her role as Youth Pastor this July as Pastor Brock transitions into this new role. We are actively seeking for a Children’s Pastor to join our ministry staff at Bethel. We hope to have this person by this summer in time for the Fall season. SPRING CLEAN DAY Our Deacons have called for a Spring Clean and Work Day on Saturday May 12th. As you know around your house, as Spring comes it is important to do some Spring cleaning in and around the house. The same is true with God’s house. We all, as members of this church, have a responsibility, to keep this house in good condition. Would you mark this date on your calendar and plan to help us that day? It will be appreciated.
