Be There for Our School

Your gift to Beth Tfiloh’s Annual Campaign supports a learning environment where students become proud Jews and self-confident learners as they discover their unique potential. Each day, our students engage in a rigorous academic program that emphasizes character development and Jewish values in a warm, caring and supportive environment — whether learning in the building or online — when our school transformed into a Virtual Academy.

This past year, your investment taught our youngest learners in the PreSchool about experimental play with the new sensory wall experience. Your support provided our Lower School students with many creative and cognitive benefits through learning Hebrew while also connecting to Jewish traditions and modern Israeli life, which they celebrated at Yom Hasafa (Day of Language).

The school’s investment in technology enhanced Middle School and High School students’ learning experiences, which helped them seamlessly transition into the Virtual Academy. The High School’s new STEM course, Introduction to Engineering Principles, familiarized students with engineering design, coding, and robotics skills, as well as the STEM Lab equipment.

Once in the Virtual Academy, teachers and students maintained their rigorous academic schedule, helping to ensure both stability and engagement at a most difficult time. Our unparalleled college guidance program supported our Class of 2020 seniors, who were accepted to 88 colleges and universities and 22 Israel or gap year programs, and collectively were awarded $5,035,700 in college merit scholarships.
