Steel hoods:
Forged in a single piece in P275 NH steel in accordance with EN10028-3, high temperature and abrasion resistant, fabricated exclusively for the manufacture of water-cooled panels for electric arc furnaces. All pieces are supplied by European manufacturers. Hot forged to produce a seamless, fissure free piece of increased resistance and guaranteed wall thickness throughout. These characteristics cannot be guaranteed in stamped hoods with varying wall thickness or in cast hoods in which pores and cracks may be present. The steel hoods are made in a single piece for greater strength and durability. All pieces are subject to a final blasted.
