Fees for our programs vary from $30$50 unless specified. There will be a $10 addition for non-residents. An extra $5 fee will be added for registrations made after June 1st. Checks should be made out to City of San Juan. A $25 service charge will be assessed for all returned checks.

Registration for all classes with the exception of the Library Program, will be at the San Juan Parks & Recreation Office located at 316 E. 8th St. in San Juan (see map) from May 16th through June 1st, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Classes are limited, so please register early!
The San Juan Parks & Recreation Department retains the privilege to cancel any scheduled activity that fails to generate minimum interest. There is a minimum of 10 students per class to keep the class from closing. Fees will not be refunded unless classes are canceled.

GUS & GOLDIE LEARN TO SWIM CLASSES Classes are fifty minutes long. They will spend 35 minutes learning to swim and 15 minutes of free playtime. The fee includes a t-shirt and certificate of completion per session per child. All classes will be held at the San Juan Municipal Pool.

Lifeguard positions will work 20-35 hours a week and must be certified. Lifeguard salary begins at $8.50 p/hr. Call the Parks & Recreation Department for information on how to get certified. The Municipal Pool will be open Tuesday June 7th through Saturday August 11th. The pool will be closed on Sundays for parties and Mondays for maintenance. All swimmers must wear swim suits. NO CUT OFFS are allowed.

WEATHER POLICY Aquatic facility will be closed during electrical storms and other inclement weather watches or warnings. The facility will not open if such conditions are present. If inclement weather occurs after opening, the Facility Manager will decide if they should be closed temporarily or for the remainder of the day. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
