gabe dannenbring By: Maria Molino Photography by: Marcos Covos From school teacher to TikTok sensation, Gabriel Dannenbring, has turned the ordinary into extraordinary and doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. With a keen interest and eye for men’s fashion and lifestyle, Gabe is setting his sights on a full scale lifestyle brand. Growing up Gabe knew he wanted to pursue a career where he would be able to make a positive impact on people. At first he had his mind set on entering the medical field, as either a doctor or nurse, but things didn’t go quite as he imagined. “As I got older I learned, I could not handle seeing blood,” he explains. A rather necessary evil for a medical professional, unfortunately. Therefore, he switched gears in pursuit of a career in education. Landing as a 7th grade science teacher, he now gets to help young inquiring minds pursue their future goals in the areas of science.
Pretty incredible for something that started as just a funny video. Even more incredible is how Gabe keeps his momentum going
So where did TikTok come into play, you might ask? As a fluke! Gabe decided to make a video one day while teaching, and the rest is now history. He tells the story: “I became a TikToker by accident. One day at school, I made a short video while I was teaching. When I got home from work that night, I decided to post the video onto Tik Tok thinking that at least one of my six followers (at the time) would find it funny. Within hours of posting the video, it had millions of views. After the first video, I decided to purse TikToking, not knowing what the future would hold. Here I am 10 months later with 1.1 Million followers, over 80 million views on my profile, and 33.6 million likes on my videos.” Pretty incredible for something that started as just a funny video. Even more incredible is how Gabe keeps his momentum going. Crediting his girlfriend as his inspiration “to keep working hard and “grinding”, while pursing what I love to do,” Gabe continues to awe his audience and grow his brand. In pursuit of the ultimate lifestyle brand, which would include, men’s fashion, home products and fitness, he relies on those around him for encouragement.
His endearing nature and love of people is what we at BHL are most excited about as we welcome Gabe to our family.
