LUXURY IS A MIRROR Luxury is different for everyone. Luxury is a mirror that reflects what we really want. It’s a rare and extraordinary occurrence when a place can meet most peoples expectation of what Luxury means. Amangani in Wyoming was a place that exceeded my expectations. Knowing about their stunning resort was one thing, but experiencing it was a moment I will never forget. After being the Editor in Chief for BHL Media, I have experienced and seen the majestic, the beautiful, I have experienced the grandeur of many places, but the Amangiri gave me a different perspective. From the moment you enter you are greeted with the brilliance of the landscape. The awe inspiring scenery makes it nearly impossible to be inspired any more. The challenge of that was not lost on me, as an interior designer I notice every detail and absorb all that is happening around me.

The redwood and sandstone architecture reminded me of what it would be like if Japan had decided to create a Wyoming retreat. No part of your experience however takes your attention away from the natural beauty of the Tetons, but uses it as a part of the design and experience. Our room was beautifully appointed and made us feel like we were in our own home. From the cozy fireplace, to the spacious closet and obviously the amazing views, the accommodations make you never want to go home. The experience alone was absolutely magical and relaxing but only made better by the service and the help which was provided by knowledgable and kind staff. I say kind, because the experience was one that felt like they all wanted to be there to make our experience even more memorable and special. The amenities from their 3 restaurants to their wellness services, the Amangani not only does everything with excellence they create experiences that are seamless and do not leave any stone unturned. From direct access to the pool from the wellness center to the delicate and decadent meals that are visually beautiful and delicious. No detail is left to chance when you stay at Amangani. From transport to the mountain for your ski experience to the small details of creating memorable and unforgettable experiences like dog sledding in the winter to fly fishing in the summer. Creating a true luxury experience is not about price but all about experience. Amangani has created a retreat that demands you to be present and one with yourself but creating moments of ultimate AHHHH! A place that will forever live in your mind, you will never want to let go of the reminders of being whisked away to a place where you always thought were only allowed in your dreams.
THE REDWOOD AND SANDSTONE ARCHITECTURE REMINDED ME OF WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE IF JAPAN HAD DECIDED TO CREATE A WYOMING RETREAT. NO PART OF YOUR EXPERIENCE HOWEVER TAKES YOUR ATTENTION AWAY FROM THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF THE TETONS, BUT USES IT AS A PART OF THE DESIGN AND EXPERIENCE.
