I've now discovered just how wonderful being a Grandma can be - you get to do all the fun stuff then hand them back for the boring bits!! Born in Chelmsford Essex UK, went to Cathedral Primary School then Boswells Comprehensive. Completed secretarial course at Dovedale Technical College. First job was Cost Clerk at Christie Bros then Secretary in Research Dept at Ransome Hoffman Pollard & later secretary to Data Processing Manager. Married Ken Rees in 1973 at 19 years old & seperated April 2002. Emigrated to South Australia in 1980 then returned to UK in 2003 to care for my Mum who has altzheimers. Was only expected to stay in UK for 2/3 years but 7 years on I'm still there! I come back to Oz whenever I can to see my kids - last year my daughter gave birth to my first grandchild & this year my son got married & I was able to be in Oz for both occassions. Am currently in messy divorce proceedings & will be glad when it is finalised & I can finally cut a very nasty, abusive man out of my life. I plan on return
