She is artistically creative and extremely passionate about the makeup industry and combines her skills and techniques as a professional makeup artist with the new creativity of airbrushing. She is a talented celebrity makeup artist who is not only makeup savvy but extremely popular and sought after throughout Europe. Beverly has more than twenty years of experience as a makeup artist both in film television and print. She also has more than ten years’ experience of teaching makeup and airbrushing at high level and in further education. Beverly has a teaching degree in Beauty and Make Up Artistry from Stirling University, Scotland, which makes her absolutely outstanding educator. Indeed Beverly was involved in developing the new Scottish Qualifications in Make-up Artistry.

Evgenia Parhatskaja Is a classical artist and is a certified teacher from St.-Petersburg, Russia. Evgenia moved to Sweden in 2005 developing her art of body painting, whilst continuing to work in classical art portraitures and old style map drawing. Her Inspiration comes from the 1500-1700 century charts and portraits. Her clients include, among others, Peder Lamm . Her work is exhibited at Bullandö Pub and Gallery St. Erik Stockholm.

Jim Edinburg A native of northern Minnesota, he studied at the University of Minnesota in Duluth, training in art, photography and stage makeup. In 1993 he attended a makeup school in Orlando, Florida, where he finished at the very top of his class earning the ‘Best Makeup’ award. In 1995 Universal Studios Florida created a new makeup department and Jim was one of 4 artists hired to start it. Within a year he was chosen to lead the team which in a few short years grew to a crew of over 15 makeup artists and hair stylists. During large projects his crew grew to over 40. In 2004 Jim moved to Norway with his family where he was the head of makeup effects education at the Nordic Institute for Stage and Studio (NISS) for 6 years. He now runs his own makeup FX Company, UPFX, full time, as well as the life casting business, Art Life, and the new Studio Imaginarium, through which Jim continues to share his 2 decades of experience with eager young artists through courses and seminars.Jim has been featured in Makeup Artist Magazine, Illusion Magazine and has been interviewed on NBC's Today Show as well as numerous Norwegian newspapers, magazines and TV appearances. www.creativeair.se

The applicant must be 18 or over, in good health with normal colour vision. The School caters for overseas as well as Swedish students. Our course requires a good level of English. What previous experience or qualifications are required? No experience is required but an art training, hairdressing, fashion/beauty make up is recommended. How will I be assessed?

Students will be observed in formative and summative assessments’. A short written test to in knowledge and understanding will be carried out. If you are accepted you will be sent a Letter of Acceptance. You will then be asked to submit an advance payment which should have cleared funds three weeks prior to course commencement. Can I get help with the fee? On certain occasions we are able to offer a financial agreement between ourselves and a student, depending on credit checks, etc. Will I be able to do the course if I don’t have my own models?
