Irene Christensen divides her time between her studios in New York City and in Oslo, Norway, and also for one month each year in Costa Rica. Christensen studied at the Art Student League in New York City with Richard Pousette-Dart and Joseph Hirsch, as well as at the Voss School of Fine Arts and at the Institute for Rom Kunst in Oslo, Norway She has exhibited in both Europe and the United States since 1983 where her work is represented in many museums and personal collections.

Bruce Naigles is a prolific sculptor and teacher who created “The Just Man”, known as the Oslo Business for Peace Award His work is figurative and allegorical and stems from his desire to bring forth otherwise intangible human traits and experiences by clothing them in figurative sculpture One of his recent projects involved creating four large male heads called “Keepers of the Faith” which stand on steel pillars rising out of the sea in Moss. His contribution to the auction is a replica of one of these men wearing a hat!
