Fuelling passion in aesthetics and cosmetic surgery, Beauty Uncovered LIVE set up a residency at the Business Design Centre in the heart of Islington, London, on May 7-8. With Headline Sponsor HydraFacial and more than 2,200 attendees, 40 brands, and 70 speakers, the show provided a unique opportunity for the public to come and discover the latest aesthetic treatments, try the hottest new products and learn from industry experts. Throughout the weekend we brought you live demos, the latest products, consultations from celebrity doctors, and real-life patient stories first-hand! With three stages dedicated to aesthetics talks including myth busters, live consultations and asking the experts, there were tonnes of chances for you to find out all you needed to know. Some of our show highlights included supermodel Caprice and celebrity journalist Suzanne Baum discussing beauty and empowerment, whilst our front cover star and Love Islander Sharon Gaffka opened up about her treatment experiences, as well as the effects social media can have on Eurocentric beauty standards. It’s a very good ecosystem not just for women but for men as well. All aspects of skin are covered… it’s a really good show for people who like to feel good and look after themselves. I had a HydraFacial and it felt amazing!”

Another attendee, Charlotte Thorgood, also had a totally fabulous time with her friends. “We’ve really enjoyed it!" she exclaimed, adding, "I had a facial and my skin felt like a beautiful glazed donut.
