Following the launch of the first event of its kind connecting you to the world of medical aesthetics, Beauty Uncovered reflects on an unforgettable weekend! Fuelling passion in aesthetics and cosmetic surgery, Beauty Uncovered LIVE set up a residency at the Business Design Centre in the heart of Islington, London, on May 7-8. With Headline Sponsor HydraFacial and more than 2,200 attendees, 40 brands, and 70 speakers, the show provided a unique opportunity for the public to come and discover the latest aesthetic treatments, try the hottest new products and learn from industry experts. Throughout the weekend we brought you live demos, the latest products, consultations from celebrity doctors, and real-life patient stories first-hand! With three stages dedicated to aesthetics talks including myth busters, live consultations and asking the experts, there were tonnes of chances for you to find out all you needed to know. Some of our show highlights included supermodel Caprice and celebrity journalist Suzanne Baum discussing beauty and empowerment, whilst our front cover star and Love Islander Sharon Gaffka opened up about her treatment experiences, as well as the effects social media can have on Eurocentric beauty standards. Non-surgical facelifts with Dr Nina Bal was discussed alongside patient transformations with the star of 10 Years Younger in 10 Days Dr Tapan Patel, and the show’s host Cherry Healey. Plus, there was plenty of pampering including HydraFacials, complimentary skin health drinks at the Skinade bar, body contouring, hair and makeup – all while being treated with some LIVE entertainment too!
