1.0 VISION The creation of sustainable human settlement necessitates a different approach to the reconciliation of the physical fabric of built environment with green spaces and ecology.

The proposals for North Sprowston and Old Catton (NS&OC) seek as a matter of priority to use land

Following further work to address the High Court ruling, a version of the Joint Core Strategy containing proposed submission text was published for consultation on 10th August 2012. The GNDP Green Infrastructure Strategy (GIS) sets out a vision for green infrastructure in the Greater Norwich Area for a â&#x20AC;&#x153;multifunctional network of green spaces and green links, providing an environmental life support system for communities and wildlifeâ&#x20AC;?.

The GIS recommends that a set of six core principles for green infrastructure planning and
