Cathedral Festival –Showcasing Bradford Cathedral Saturday 15th June from 11am till late Put the date in your diaries, invite your family and friends and join us for our 100th birthday day of celebrations. The day will culminate in a street party starting at 1919 and there will be lots happening throughout the day for all ages. (Why is the street party at 1919 you may ask? Well this is as we were declared a cathedral on 25 November 1919) But – could you help to make sure that things run smoothly and the day is a success by helping out in some way? We really do need helpers and if you could offer just a few hours that would make a huge difference. If you can help or would like to know more, please get in touch with Charlie Murray by either ringing the Cathedral Office or emailing him on heritageoutreach@bradfordcathedral.org We are also looking for people to help move chairs and furniture as part of this event to help support the street party and evening prayer. The slots are 6.00-7.30pm, 8.15-9.15pm and 10.00-11.00pm. If you are able to help, please email events@bradfordcathedral.org or let the Cathedral Office know on 01274 777720.
