THE FUTURE IS HOPEFUL Imagine if kids born into poverty were able to keep pace with their wealthier peers. Imagine if they had access to ample opportunities to learn and grow. Imagine if they had the consistency and reliability that gives kids a sense of security and helps them develop self-discipline. Picture what this could accomplish.

This is where Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver comes in. Intentionally located in resource-constrained neighborhoods, Boys & Girls Clubs are vital support systems that allow parents and families to work knowing their children are safe and thriving. An average of 10,000 kids rely on the Clubs year-round, afterschool and all day in the summer. Club members enjoy a safe, supervised and engaging environment where they gain the knowledge and skills necessary to grow, succeed and discover their place in this world. Club members often recognize the relationships they build with Club staff as some of the most transformative relationships in many of their young lives. Most importantly, for youth who come to us facing challenges or obstacles, we provide hope.

Hope that they will be the first in their family to graduate from college. Hope that they will become a leader in their community. Hope that they will discover their place in this world and reach their full potential.

A CHANGED LIFE

IMPACTING GENERATIONS Julio grew up going to a Boys & Girls Club and started volunteering when he was an adult. He saw the impact he was making in the lives of young people and it inspired him to devote his professional career to working at our Clubs. Today, Julio manages our Cope Boys & Girls Club – empowering and encouraging thousands of young people whose stories are still being written. When our alumni return as adults to work in the same Club where they grew up, helping kids in the same way they were helped, it tells a special story about the impact of our Clubs coming full circle.

Without the Club and the mentors I had there, who knows where I would be today. That is why I work so hard to be there for our kids – because I know how powerful it is and how much we can impact and influence the Club members. - Julio, Staff Member & Club Alumnus

PLEASE JOIN US - INVEST IN A BETTER FUTURE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME

YOU CAN MAKE A DRAMATIC IMPACT ON THE LIVES AND FUTURES OF OUR YOUTH One of the greatest ways you can impact youth for generations to come is to support Boys & Girls Clubs through a legacy gift. All forms of planned giving enable us to reach the kids who need us most. Endowments ensure our youth population today will continue to be served tomorrow by strengthening the organization in perpetuity. Legacy gifts offer unique benefits to you, the donor, and ensures that you will enjoy tax and income benefits while giving future generations opportunities to learn and grow long after the last school bell rings each day.

From my first introduction to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, I knew this was an organization I wanted to support with an annual gift as well as an estate gift. As an educator, I know that when our children do well, we all benefit. I hope my estate gift will help to ensure that future generations will have access to the Clubs and the amazing staff who work hard to create better lives for the children they serve. - Abby Humphrey, Legacy Club member

WE INVITE YOU TO LEARN MORE Your legacy support is the key to empowering generations of our community’s most vulnerable young people for years to come.
