WE nurture hearts Boys & Girls Clubs are staffed and run by talented, trained youth development professionals that care. These adults are there when it counts: every day. Our staff makes the investment in our kids, their families and the communities where they live. In fact, staff members participate in more than 40 different community coalitions across metro

Denver. Need more proof? More than 80% of our Club members reported a sense of belonging to their Club, a connection to a caring adult and a positive sense of recognition. Each and every day after school and throughout the summer, the Clubs offer the safety, support, mentorship and inspiration that kids and families depend on.

WE LEND A HELPING HAND Boys & Girls Club members organize and carry out hundreds of projects to lend a hand and make a difference in their schools, Clubs

and neighborhoods each year. 76% of Club

members participate in service activities at their Club, adding up to more than 8,000 hours of community service. Our Clubs teach young people – more than 90% of whom are minorities and half as likely to participate in service activities – how to roll up their sleeves, dig in, and become active participants in their community. This civic

engagement works: Club members consistently demonstrate positive, productive coping

techniques and high levels of responsibility.

WE GET FEET MOVING Boys & Girls Clubs are 100% committed to every aspect of a healthy lifestyle. That’s why we provide the right resources – from coaches to carrots- to help kids make the right choices.

Boys & Girls Club members are more likely to exercise, eat fruits and vegetables, and abstain from using drugs and alcohol. Good health requires practice. It means not only having a place to go where you get the chance to run, jump, kick, throw and high-five; it also

means eating right and having the knowledge and confidence necessary to choose wisely.
