April - FREE RANGE EVENT - Monday 11th April As promised - here is the date for next FREE range night. Please pre book with Tom. You only have to pay £5.00 for the comp entry - the rest is free! The range will be closed for visitors Free balls, free food and great competitions throughout the night. 7pm until 10pm. Should be warmer than the last one!

BOOKABLE BAYS AND CREDIT - IMPORTANT I have had a lot of feedback about members not being able to pre book a bay and I did say I was looking into it. I have found a solution! Members can now pre-book a bay without having to pay for the unlimited balls. You need to select bays 16-20. By choosing those ones - it will not ask you to pay - but will book the hour for you. Credit - When we installed the new Range I did say the member credit is likely to change. From 9th April 2022 all members will get 50% more credit added to their cards. Currently, if you put £10 on your card - you will get £20 (and still will until 9th April). From the 9th if you put £10 on your card, you will get £15 worth of range credit. So the advice would be - top up before 9th April!
The Pond has ARRIVED! I am certain most of you have seen the new pond and or pictures that have been doing the rounds. The rotten old bridge has gone and once Johnny has worked his green fingered magic it will look stunning.
The Practice Ground Hasn't gone forever! The range fence will be installed week commencing the 11th April. Tree work is needed for the access of the new fence and the only way to the field is where this work is taking place. To keep everyone safe, I have decided to close the field for a few weeks - just until the work is done. That area will also be out of bounds and strictly no retrieving your balls. Whilst the higher fence is going in - there will be range closures and adjustments to the 18th tee. The work should take around a week and disruption will be kept to a minimum.
2022 Captain - Phil Abbott Secure your Places for the Captains Dinner Cup - £25 per person (pairs comp Members and a guest) Saturday 2nd April 2022. Golf in the day and a meal with a speaker in the evening. You can sign up by putting your name down on the notice board under the Men’s Section. It’s always a fun day (please note the speak might be a little blue!) Price includes golf, 3 course meal AND prizes!
Give the Greens Team Priority One of our younger, new lads was very nearly hit last week. They have been instructed to call me when this happens. There was a gentle warning last month - this month it’s a little stronger. Rule - if there is a Green Keeper there - wait for them to wave you on. Please remember these guys are vulnerable out there and we need to protect them.

In the meantime - don't forget you have until 9th April to top up your range credit at the old rate. Take advantage! Remember you can book a members only bay online by choosing bays 16-20.
