The French Cuff French, cuffs, are twice as long and worn folded back on themselves. French cuffs were once considered to be more formal than button cuffs, although they are seeing a resurgence in the business environment, particularly in Europe.


Business Casual Khaki or dark pants, neatly pressed, and a pressed long-sleeved, buttoned solid shirt are safe for both men and women. Women can wear sweaters; cleavage is not business-appropriate Polo/golf shirts, unwrinkled, are appropriate IF you know the environment will be quite casual, outdoors or in a very hot location. Ties are not necessary in this environment.


Business Formal MEN- a dark business suit, dress shirt worn with a silk tie, and dress shoes. It can include a French cuff shirt worn with cuff links as well. Women- a skirted suit worn with hosiery and pumps (closed toe/heel shoes)
