The University of South Carolina Aiken 2 The University of South Carolina Aiken was chartered in 1961 after entering into an agreement with the University of South Carolina to establish a two-year center in Aiken. The Aiken Center opened its doors in September 1961 to 139 students. Temporarily housed in Banksia, a renovated mansion in Aiken, the Center consisted of three full-time faculty members (one of whom served as Director of the Center). In 1968, the Center underwent an institutional self-study and was accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools as a branch of the University of South Carolina and as a junior college. The first associate degrees were awarded in June 1968. The campus of USC Aiken moved from Banksia to its present site in 1972 and physical changes began to occur rapidly. At first, the permanent campus consisted of 100 acres and one multipurpose building which housed all university operations. A library was completed in 1975, and additional land was donated that increased the campus to 144 acres. In October 1977, the Student Activities Center was opened. A classroom building was occupied in 1978, and one year later, an auxiliary services building was added. An apartment complex for

students, Pacer Downs, was ready for occupancy in the fall of 1984. More construction additions to the campus included completion of the Etherredge Center, Ruth Patrick Science Education Center, the Business and Education Building, and the Alan B. Miller Nursing Building. Additional land was acquired increasing the campus to 400 acres. Academic and organizational changes also occurred rapidly. The faculty formalized its organizational structure and redefined its role in the governance of the institution in 1974-75. Also, the students reorganized their governing body and more precisely defined their role on campus; the administration and staff structures were overhauled and expanded to meet the demands of the growing academic programs. When the full-time equivalent student enrollment reached 1,066 in the fall of 1975, the USC Aiken campus was permitted to plan for senior level courses and to create a number of baccalaureate degree programs. In that same year, USCA

received approval as a four-year branch campus by the Board of Trustees of the University of South Carolina, and USCA was designated a Recognized Candidate for Senior College Accreditation. In September 1976, the Board of Trustees granted academic autonomy to the Aiken Campus. The first bachelor’s degrees were granted in May 1977, and USCA became a fully accredited senior college. Presently, the college community is comprised of more than 3,200 students, over 100 full-time faculty, approximately 110 staff members, and 28 administrators. USCA awards bachelor’s degrees in more than 20 major areas of study, master’s degrees in two areas, and offers a varied program of continuing education courses for the wider community. Today USC Aiken offers students a liberal education designed to develop an understanding of human experience which will equip them for life in a free society. To accomplish this, the University provides students with an opportunity to discover learning processes which enable them to grow personally and socially. It promotes students’ interaction within a community of active scholars and artists, and it encourages students to use the knowledge which they gain to deal with the problems of a rapidly changing world.

The Peach Belt Conference 3 Vision Statement: The Peach Belt Conference is committed to providing through its dependent collegiate members, a forum for student participation in athletic, academic and co-curricular events under the auspices of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Division II. We will exemplify the characteristics of a premier intercollegiate conference that prides itself on the inclusion of students of all demographic groups who wish to participate in a well-rounded sports program. Our institutions, our academic goals, our athletic aspirations reflect a communality of purpose and a commitment to excellence in the classroom and on the playing field. History: Entering its 23rd year of existence in 2012-13, the Peach Belt Conference has cemented its status as one of the elite Division II conferences in the nation. Since its inception in 1990-91, the Peach Belt has developed a consistent history of excellence which continues to this day with 32 national championships and 28 national finalists. Starting with only two championships in 1991, men’s and women’s basketball, the conference has expanded to 15 championship sports with the addition of men’s and women’s track and field in the spring of 2013. The conference traces its roots back to November of 1988 when 11 schools first met in Greenville, S.C. to form a Division II conference. Following a second meeting on Dec. 3, 1989, five of those 11 schools, plus two others, formed the Peach Belt and began play in fall 1990. The Peach Belt was less than a year old before capturing a national championship. The Columbus State golf team took the honor by winning the 1992 national crown, the first of three golf championships the Cougars own. One year later, the Lander men’s tennis team began their record-breaking run of eight straight national titles, the first PBC dynasty. Since then, USCA men’s golf has won three straight national titles from 2004-06. The PBC is in the midst of another dynasty as the Armstrong men’s and women’s tennis teams captured the 31st and 32nd national championships for the conference last year. The Pirates have won four women’s and three men’s national championships since 2008. Armstrong’s achievement was the

highlight to one of the most successful seasons in league history. Peach Belt teams advanced to the national championship round of competition in 10 of our 13 sports. The Armstrong women’s soccer team reached the Final Four while the Flagler volleyball team went to the Elite Eight. The Montevallo men’s basketball team played in the National Championship game while the Lander women’s team reached the Elite Eight. The Flagler softball team reached the world series while the Georgia College and USC Aiken men’s golf teams reached the final eight match play at the National Championships. In all, 59 Peach Belt teams made appearances in the NCAA postseason, including seven men’s tennis teams and six each in the sports of men’s golf and women’s tennis. The seven charter members of the conference were Armstrong Atlantic State University, Columbus State University, Francis Marion University, Georgia College & State University, Lander University, USC Aiken and USC Upstate. The name Peach Belt Athletic Conference was adopted in January of 1990 and modified to Peach Belt Conference in May of 2000. Augusta State joined the conference in 1991 and UNC Pembroke became the ninth member on July 1, 1992. They were followed by Kennesaw State University on July 1, 1994, Clayton State University on July 1, 1995 and the University of North Florida on July 1, 1997. Kennesaw State and North Florida departed for the Division I ranks in 2005, USC Upstate did the same in 2007, and the conference welcomed in North Georgia College & State University in 2005 and Georgia Southwestern State University in 2006. In 2009-10, the Peach Belt added Montevallo and Flagler. For the 2012-13 season, the league is expanding once again with the addition of Young Harris College, giving the Peach Belt 14 members for the first time in its history. David Brunk was named the second PBC commissioner in May of 2007. Brunk replaced Marvin Vanover, who was the first PBC commissioner from 1991 to 2007. Brunk is charged with continuing the strong growth of the conference as its second era begins. Dr. Fred Carter, president of Francis Marion University, begins his two-year term as president of the Peach Belt this year. The conference currently holds championships in 14 sports, six for men and eight for women. They are men’s

and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, baseball, softball and men’s and women’s golf and women’s track and field.

Dr. Sandra Jordan USC Aiken Chancellor

Sandra J. Jordan, former provost and vice president for academic affairs at Georgia College & State University, was named chancellor of the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2012. Jordan became the fourth chancellor of USC Aiken, succeeding Thomas L.

Hallman who retired after 12 years in the position. “I am tremendously honored and humbled by this opportunity to serve the campus, community and the University of South Carolina system,” Jordan said. “USC Aiken’s mission, unwavering dedication to student success and vibrant partnerships with the community, make this an exceptional and exciting position. I am thrilled to accept this invitation to join the Pacers during this pivotal time in the history of the institution and I look forward to working closely with President Pastides, the USC Aiken faculty, staff and students as well as our alumni and friends to build upon the successes that defined this university’s first 50 years.” Jordan’s appointment marks a return to the state where her higher

education career began. From 19861989, she was an assistant professor of art history at Lander University and director of the Monsanto Gallery of Art. Jordan earned her bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Alabama, and her doctorate in art history from the University of Georgia. She has also attended the Management Development Program at Harvard University’s Institute for Higher Education, the 21st Century Leadership Institute and was a summer fellow at Vanderbilt University’s Institute for Higher Education Management. A student of leadership, she is often asked to mentor new leaders at the state and national level. Jordan has been married for 30 years to Michael Jordan, an architect and graduate of Clemson University. They have a son, Matthew, who is a graduate student at the University of Alabama.

Randy Warrick Director of Athletics

Randy Warrick is in his 26th year as Director of Athletics at the University of South Carolina Aiken. He was hired at USCA in 1978 as head baseball coach and intramural director and has served many different duties during his tenure. While coaching baseball for 11 years, Warrick also served as an assistant basketball coach during the 1978-79 season and acting golf coach

in 1989-90. As baseball coach, Warrick compiled a 392-146 record, while earning various coaching awards. In 1986 his team advanced to the College World Series, the highlight of his coaching career. Warrick was born in Rocky Mount, N.C. and attended Rocky Mount High School. He was an All-Conference player in football, basketball and baseball. Upon graduation from high school, Warrick went to Louisburg Junior College where he played baseball for two years. In 1975, Warrick earned his Associate of Arts degree from Louisburg and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals, but decided to stay in school. Warrick then moved on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a two-year baseball scholarship. While at North Carolina he earned Atlantic Coast Conference All-

Academic honors two straight years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1977 and then his Master of Arts in Teaching in 1978. While earning his master’s degree, he served as a graduate assistant baseball coach. In the same season, the team advanced to the College World Series. Warrick is a member of the College Athletic Management’s Editorial Board, PBC Awards Committee, NCAA Division II AD’s Association Board of Directors, Greater Augusta Sports Council Board, and is the most recent past chairman of the NCAA Division II National Golf Committee. Warrick is married to Martha Blankenship Warrick of Augusta, Ga. They have one son, Tripp, who is a senior at USC Aiken. The Warrick family resides in North Augusta, S.C.

Tim Hall is in his 22nd year as a member of the USC Aiken athletic department. Hall first joined the program in 1990 as a graduate assistant. In 1993 he was hired on as the university’s full-time NCAA Compliance Coordinator. In August 1997, the Batesburg-Leesville native was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director. In September 2003, Hall was promoted again, this time to the position of Associate Athletic Director for Administration and External Services. In this role, Hall oversees NCAA compliance and academic support. In addition, he assists with home game administration and fundraising. A 1990 graduate of the University of South Carolina, Hall received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration. In 1992, he earned a Master’s in Student Personnel Services from USC as well. In his time at USC Aiken, Hall has been on a number of campus committees including the first year academic advisor program and the enrollment management action team in the strategic planning process. Hall is married to the former Jenny Fulmer and they have three sons, Jordan, Ethan and Wyatt.

Angie Osbon is in her 13th year as a member of the USC Aiken athletic department. Osbon became the department’s business manager in 1999. Through the years she has earned a number of other titles, including Senior Woman Administrator, Student Athlete Advisory Committee Advisor and Cheerleading, Mascot and Dance Team Director. In 2007, Osbon received the Outstanding Committment to Student Development Award from the Office of Student Life. In September 2003, the Aiken, S.C., native was promoted to the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Business and Student Services. Osbon earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from USC Aiken in 1992. In 1996, Osbon received her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. In 2002, Osbon was named student organization advisor of the year and was selected to the Who’s Who Among Cheerleading Coaches. In addition, she has been a member of the first year academic advisor program and a staff facilitator for orientation. The former Angie Mathis is married to Rick Osbon and they have three children, Reagan, Gemma and Sterling.

Assistant Athletic Director/ Communications and Promotions Brian Hand is in his fifth year as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Promotions/Sports Information Director at USC Aiken. Hand came to USC Aiken from Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. Hand left PC after serving for almost three years as the Director of Sports Information and Game Operations for the Blue Hose athletic department. Prior to accepting his position with PC, Hand worked as a public affairs assistant with the Southern Conference. Hand also worked as an intern with the Greenville Lions professional soccer team and as a sports clerk with The Greenville News before moving to Nashville, Tenn., in 2004 to serve as a media relations assistant with the Pacific Coast League’s Nashville Sounds, then the Class AAA affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. A native of Greer, S.C., Hand completed his undergraduate studies at North Greenville University in Tigerville, S.C. in 2003. He holds a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Hand is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). He is married to the former Amy Prater of Pelzer, S.C. They are the proud parents of Alexander (four).

Brandon Aiken is in his 13th year as head athletic trainer and 15th overall at USC Aiken. Aiken, a native of Sturgeon Bay, Wis., joined the USC Aiken training staff in 1997 as a graduate assistant. He served in that capacity for three years until stepping into the head position in 2000. He was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine prior to the 2009-10 athletic year. A 1997 graduate of Saint Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, N.C., Aiken received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine. Aiken is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Aiken also served as assistant and head athletic trainer at Hitchcock Rehabilitation Center in Aiken, S.C., for more than three years. At Hitchcock, he worked with high school, college, and professional athletes as well as general outpatient rehabilitation. Aiken guided the USC Aiken athletic training staff to backto-back (2007-08 and 2008-09) Peach Belt Conference Athletic Training Staff of the Year awards.

Joe Kucharski is in his 11th year as the “Voice of the Pacers.” A native of St. Louis, Mo., Kucharski graduated from St. Louis University in 1977. While at SLU, he provided statistics and analysis for the Billiken hockey and softball teams. Kucharski completed his graduate studies at the University of Utah, where he bowled for the Utes in the Inter-Mountain Collegiate Conference. He briefly held the record for the highest three-game series ever bowled in Salt Lake City. He has bowled a 300 game and is a member of the Bowling Hall of Fame. Kucharski and his family moved from New Jersey to Aiken in 1994. He works in operations for GlaxoSmithKline in Aiken. When not at USC Aiken sporting events, Kucharski enjoys playing golf and heads the chain gang for Schofield football.

Michael Kucharski is in his first year as Assistant Sports Information Director at USC Aiken. Kucharski has been a student volunteer for the athletic department since the spring of 2011. He has assisted with the live broadcasts of men’s and women’s basketball, softball and baseball on the official USC Aiken U-Stream channel, including commentary for two baseball games. Kucharski has worked with the student newspaper, The Pacer Times, serving as both staff writer and Special Editor for the Hallman Retirement Edition, which was released on April 18, 2012. Kucharski received an Associates Degree from Aiken Technical College in 2008 as a paralegal. He is now a senior at USC Aiken studying Communications. He has received the Scott B. Hunter Scholarship for journalism students for the current academic year.

The USC Aiken Convocation Center Home of the Pacers

As USC Aiken Athletics has grown, its place in context of the University as a whole has evolved. With heightened importance comes the need for new tools for success. The Convocation Center, opened in April 2007, is the grandest tool yet that will equip the Pacer programs with opportunities to succeed. A vision some 15 years in the making, the construction of the facility came to fruition only because of the dedication and hard work of campus and community leaders. Funding for the $17 million, 100,000 square foot facility came from both public and private sources. With a groundbreaking ceremony on December 9, 2005, construction in earnest began with a 14-month

time table laid out for the project’s completion. With China Construction as the builders of the project, Chinese National Television was on hand for the historic groundbreaking. In addition to giving the men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball programs a state-of-the-art facility in which to practice and play, the athletic department as a whole has expanded space and modern offices in which to operate. Visitors to the building are greeted initially by the beautiful John C. Troutman Family Lobby, highlighted by the Lew Perkins Wall of Champions. The lobby works as a museum of Pacer greatness, both past and present. The Wall of Champions is a dedication to Lew

Perkins, the former USC Aiken basketball coach and athletic director and former Director of Athletics at the University of Kansas. The Wall of Champions is a timeline of USC Aiken athletics. The lobby also includes trophy cases dedicated to each sport, and a hanging banner featuring a prominent student-athlete from each sport’s past. The main arena has a seating capacity of 3,600 for athletic events. The men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams all practice and hold home events in the arena, which has state-of-the-art sound and scoreboard systems. One practice floor is located on each side of the arena above the main competition floor, allowing the possibility for up to three teams to practice simultaneously. Overlooking the main competition floor is the VIP room, which gives the department a facility with a beautiful backdrop to host meetings, conferences or banquets. In addition, the building consists of eight spacious locker rooms, including ones dedicated for the men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and volleyball teams. The first weight training facility exclusively for the student-athlete is also housed next to the athletic training room.

Glenn Cox completed his fourth season in charge of the USC Aiken volleyball program in the 2011 season. In four seasons under Cox, the Pacers have compiled a record of 61-65. Prior to joining USC Aiken, Cox had spent the previous six seasons as the head coach at the Savannah College of Art & Design, a NAIA institution in Savannah, Ga. The Pacers finished the 2011 season with an overall record of 15-16, while going 7-7 in the Peach Belt Conference and 8-5 at home in the Convocation Center. The year would end for the Pacers in the Quarterfinals of the Peach Belt Conference Championship as they fell to Augusta State 3-2. The 2011 Pacers had two team members, Samantha Lukralle and Shannon Byers, selected as All-PBC performers. Lukralle would also move to second on the all-time in school history for digs in a career with 1,643. The Pacers also performed well in the classroom with four players being selected to the PBC All-Academic Team and two players earning Honorable Mention. Lukralle, Ashley Farwell, Chelsey Kight, and Claire Patten were named to the team with Endea Ellison and Emily Maassen honorable mentions. The 2010 USC Aiken volleyball team ended its campaign with a 15-16 record. The Pacers went 6-8 in the Peach Belt Conference to finish fourth overall in the extremely tough volleyball conference. The Pacers were ranked as high as 10th in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region poll. USC Aiken would eventually conclude its year in the semifinals of the 2010 Peach Belt Conference Tournament. USC Aiken made the most of its matches in the 2010 season by going a maximum five sets in 13 of their matches. Pacer libero Samantha Lukralle broke the school single-season dig record for the second consecutive season in 2010. She was named the PBC Libero of the Year along with being chosen to the PBC All-Tournament team and the All-Region team. Shannon Byers was selected to the PBC All-Conference First Team. Three Pacers were named to the PBC All-Academic team with Chelsey Kight, Ashley Farwell and Lukralle all earning All-Academic honors. The 2009 USC Aiken volleyball team finished the season with a 15-18 record, going 5-9 in Peach Belt Conference play. USC Aiken hosted the 2009 PBC Volleyball Championships for the first time in their new home arena, the Convocation Center. The Pacers entered the tournament as the fifth seeded team. USC Aiken’s Lauren Cedeno and Shannon Byers were both chosen to the 2009 Peach Belt Conference All-Conference volleyball second team. Byers ended the year with a team-best 326 kills, collecting double-digit kills in 15 matches. Cedeno led the Pacers in 2009 with 781 assists. The senior setter recorded 40 or more assists in five matches for USC Aiken. USC Aiken acquired victories over both of the teams who would eventually meet for the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championship. The Pacers were the only team to beat Flagler in league play as the Pacers downed the Saints, 3-2, at the Convocation Center on Friday, Sept. 18. just one day later, USC Aiken was one of just two teams in the Peach Belt Conference to down the Pirates

of Armstrong Atlantic during the regular season, acquiring a 3-1 win over AASU on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Convocation Center. The Pacers were ranked as high as No. 3 in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional rankings. USC Aiken was the second highest ranked Peach Belt Conference squad with Flagler ranked one spot higher than the Pacers in second. Armstrong Atlantic was one spot lower than the Pacers in fourth. The Pacers won eight of 10 games from Sept. 4 through Sept. 19. Flagler would advance all the way to the Final Four of the 2009 NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship. Four Pacer volleyball players were tabbed to the 2009 Peach Belt Conference Volleyball All-Academic Team. Cedeno and Chelsey Kight were both named to the first team. Whitney Tabbert was named to the second team, while Megan Disney was named to the third team. Cox managed a very young Pacer squad nicely in the 2008 campaign with the Pacers ending their campaign with a 16-15 record and a third place finish in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. The Pacers jumped out to a program-best 4-0 record to begin the 2008 season before continuing their early season success by claiming the crown at the USC Aiken Volleyball Invitational at the Convocation Center. USC Aiken would not be able to maintain the torrid pace down the stretch of Cox’s first season at the helm, but nevertheless the Pacers ended the year going in the right direction. In his six seasons at SCAD, Cox led the Bees to a 141-82 overall record. In his final four seasons, his teams won four-straight Florida Sun Conference championships, won four-straight NAIA Region XIV titles and advanced to the NAIA National Volleyball Championships in Columbia, Mo., four times. In his final season at SCAD, Cox guided the Bees to a 24-12 record and the 15th seed in the NAIA National Tournament. In 2006, SCAD went 26-13 and was ranked as high as eighth nationally. Cox claimed the NAIA Region XIV Coach of the Year for his final four seasons. In the classroom, the Bees earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association/Game Plan Team Academic Award in every season under Cox. Prior to his time at SCAD, Cox served as the head volleyball coach at Athens Academy in Athens, Ga. His teams won back-to-back undefeated region championships and held an overall record of 69-27 (.719). Athens Academy finished third in the Georgia High School Association’s Class AA/A State Tournament in 2000 and second in the 2001 tournament. Before becoming a head coach, Cox served two seasons as an assistant coach at Valdosta Sate University, an NCAA Division II institution in Valdosta, Ga. In his two seasons, the Blazers went 61-15 in recording two third-place finishes in the Gulf South Conference. Cox had a successful career as a professional beach volleyball player, recording 43 open victories while competing on several national tours. Cox also has an impressive indoor career as he was a member of the NCAA Division I defending national champion 1992 Long Beach State volleyball team. Just one year earlier in 1991, Cox was a member of the prestigious Olympic Festival team. He earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 1994 and received a master’s degree in health and kinesiology in 2000 from Valdosta State University. 2012 Volleyball Outlook The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team kicks off the 2012 season looking to build on a strong 2011 season. Under the direction of fifth-year head coach Glenn Cox, the Pacers return a majority of their players losing only five letterwinners, three of them seniors. The moxie of the squad will be tested throughout the year, with the non-conference and Peach Belt schedules offering a challenge to

USC Aiken. “I am really excited for the start of the 2012 season,” noted Cox. “I feel like our strong non-conference schedule will get us ready for the rigors of the tough Peach Belt Conference schedule.” USC Aiken will open the 2012 season by playing four matches in the Francis Marion tournament (Aug. 31-Sept. 1) in Florence, S.C. USC Aiken will commence its 2012 season with matches against Mars Hill, Newberry, Mount Olive and Pfeiffer in the Francis Marion Tournament. The Pacers will then play host to the USC Aiken Volleyball Invitational at the Convocation Center on Friday, Sept. 7 and Saturday, Sept. 8. The seven-team tournament will include 14 matches over the course of the two days of the tournament. USC Aiken will play in two more tournaments, the Lees-McRae Tournament and the Johnson C. Smith tournament the two following weekends before getting into the rugged play of the Peach Belt Conference. USC Aiken will conclude its 2012 regular season with a 2 p.m. match against Armstrong on Saturday, Nov. 10. The match will serve as Senior Day for the Pacers. The experience of the Pacers, who boast a whopping seven seniors on the squad, will be a key factor to the success of the 2012 season. USC Aiken returns a talented group of underclassmen who significantly contributed to the success of the 2011 season as well. USC Aiken also adds three newcomers to the squad, two freshmen and a transfer, who will look to make immediate contributions. All three have impressive resum�s and add depth to an already formidable team. The expectations for the Pacers have never been higher and the team this year can answer the call. 2011 Season in Review The University of South Carolina Aiken volleyball team under the direction of fourth-year head coach Glenn Cox finished its 2011 season with a record of 15-16. The Pacers ended their year tied for third in the Peach Belt Conference during the regular season with a record of 7-7. USC Aiken commenced the 2011 season by going 4-4 in its first eight matches. The start included USC Aiken finishing the 2011 USC Aiken Volleyball Invitational with a 3-1 record. USC Aikenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Endea Ellison and Claire Patten were named to the 2011 USC Aiken Volleyball Invitational All-Tournament Team. The Pacers bested West Georgia in their next match to move above .500 at 5-4, but the win over the Wolves gave way to a season-long five-match losing streak. USC Aiken then proceeded to rattle off 10 victories in their next 14 matches to improve to 15-13 and return to the national discussion. The strong run would catapult the Pacers into the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Rankings at No. 10. USC Aiken would hold down the 10th spot in the region poll for the rest of the regular season. USC Aiken concluded its year by losing its final three matches to just miss out on a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Shannon Byers and Samantha Lukralle both received All-Peach Belt Conference accolades at the conclusion of the season. The award was one of three for Lukralle. She was also chosen to the Capital One Academic NCAA Division II Womenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Volleyball District Three FirstTeam and the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball All-Academic Team. Lukralle was one of four Pacers placed on the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball All-Academic Team with Ashley Farwell, Chelsey Kight and Patten also earning spots on the team. Ellison and Emily Maassen were named Honorable Mention.
