DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

As an aspiring interior designer and furniture designer, I want to help provide people with meaningful immersive experiences that help them make better connections with a space. To provide a sense of satisfaction in even the smallest details. By building on my knowledge of proven design theories like third place theory, biophilic design, and color theory and interlacing that with cultural aspects in a way that meets the needs of the users. My favorite part about design is that it is not like a mathematical problem that has one solution and one answer. It’s an expansive field of creativity where each idea matters or is a stepping stone to another. Designin can help create memories by elevating people’s lives.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

ENGAGE: Create safe avenues of interactions between people and the dogs

EDUCATE: Help people get sensitized about the status of indie dogs

CONNECT: Have areas where users can bring down their walls and improve their well being.

RIPPLING GENESIS

The concept of Rippling Genesis would help embody the spirit of Rahaish that would be a catalyst to help change the perception of people’s mindset towards indie dogs in soft ripples , that would help cultivate an environment of acceptance . It would also be a genesis in a way of giving the dogs a new identity. The design direction would be inspired by soft layers and the intricate pods of a cocoon that would help make the space have safe, secure avenues that foster a sense of transformation too.

The goal of this project was to redesign a table leg for a pedestal table in a way that makes the legs the focus point. After exploring table leg designs, the project asked the top of the table to be designed in a way that unifies it with its legs but at the same time doesn’t fight with it.
