Creating website and social media accounts for the South Quad Conference, which will bring together 200-300 architecture students from the southern region of the United States to Savannah, Georgia. Worked on video to advertise their building type + observe in on their design process in AutoCAD. Making sure props and stage was presentable before show + making sure actors get on stage on time. Helping freshman settle down into their new environment and connecting them with the universities resources by being their teaching assistant for their Freshman Year Experience class. Working in the Bateyes of Barahona, Dominican Republic to rebuild and restore communities in new methods of design by creating a home for a family of four.

SECOND FLOOR
This floor is the second interactive space that leads you into the horrors of rebellion slave life. Each extrusion, lines up with the stairs/landing which project video clips of slaves before, during, or after the affects of a rebellion. This space is not only an auditory but visual space that takes you through a chaotic journey that African American slaves had to go through to reach freedom. The concept was to create a chaotic space that took the user on a journey that resembled the unstable and riotous life of slavery.
SLAVE MUSIC NARRATORIUM Professor Scott Singeisen Human- Centered Design Software Used / Rhino, 3DS Max Illustrator & Photoshop
Slave music is unlike any genre that holds distinctive features such as intricate rhythmic patterns, off key notes, incorporation of hums, moans, foot patting and a strong rhythmic drive. These songs represented the sorrows of their lives as well as a way of communication. They sung many songs that underlyingly helped each other. It was their secret language that marched them towards freedom and was their anthem as they fought through their industrious labor. What drove the narratorium are four songs that represent their music of communication and the slaves emotional states that manifested their lives.
All four song corresponds with each level, meaning they transition from songs that represent enslavement working your way up to songs that communicated slaves freedom. The first song is Dear Darling Nelly Gray which represents the spontaneity of slave trade. Second song is Steal Away which commemorated Nate Turner for the heroic rebellion he started. Third is an unknown song that Harriet Tubman used to sing to communicate to slaves who were trying to escape up north. The last was Follow The Drinking Gourd, which informed slaves to travel up north a specific way, which led to the underground railroad.

FIRST FLOOR
Slavery is distinguished with anxiety & this feeling of tightness, so as you enter through the ground floor, half of the building is concealed with glass, which makes the building appear to be floating and creating a sort of tension of this massive rigid mass on top of you. The user is also exposed to an important aspect of the site, which are the barraccoons. These tunnel-like structures were used to temporarily hold slaves so users get first hand experience of the obstacles of slave life.
POLY-SEM-IC IMAGES
Having more than one meaning, multiple nuances Each images correspond to different spaces in the building.

01
01 Represents the oppression,
enslavement, & compactness slaves felt in their daily lives and how spontaneous life can be. This space represents the song Dear Darling Nelly Gray.
02 Represents the riotous nature of
slave riots and how chaotic life can be in the spur of the moment, as you never know what will happen. This space represents the song Steal Away, which is dedicated to Nat Turner.
03 Represents the start of freedom
for slaves. Harriet Tubman helped by singing songs that acted as a language to protect slaves from encampment. Slaves would hide or walk on their long journey up north.
04 The last picture resembles the
tension that saves have to endure when they escape. They are free but there is still some tension that something may happen. This space represents the song Follow The Drinking Gourd.

AURORA WATCHTOWER MODEL MAKING Professor Matthew Dudik Form, Space, & Order Software Used / Rhino & Illustrator
The Aurora Watchtower is placed in the magnificent, terrain of Iceland. Each cantilever corresponds to the detailed landscape of Iceland and frames a different view perfectly, creating a picturesque screen that captures your amazement. The base corresponds with the organic shapes of the Icelandic terrain creating a dynamic space to circulate and dwell. As the Aurora ignites into the air, the color is captivated through the long cantilevers. Lastly, there is also a ground floor and tunnel feature that are used as places to dwell and take in the natural beauty of Iceland, as you sit under the terrain you are one with nature.
This course was focused on introducing us to different types of space planning, using multiple pieces of bass wood to create 8inch x 8inch models. With these pieces we created models that explored different ways of constructing spaces. And from that we created a series of floor plans that suited as our foundation for the next exercise and up to the final model. The models defined a variety of design elements such as: open / closed space, static / dynamic, asymmetric / symmetric, hierarchy of space, ect. Throughout the weeks we constantly underwent reshaping our design in order to clearly define space as thoughtful as possible.

COMME DES GARCONS BOUTIQUE & SHOWROOM Professor Jean Jaminet Object Oriented Ontology Software Used / Rhino, Keyshot, Illustrator & Photoshop
This project analyzes an architectural space and concept through the protruded and recessed pieces that created a part-to-whole massing. Individual pieces were put together, varying by length, portraying the conception of depth. While the ground condition mimics and addresses the language of the city Tokyo. By creating varying and staggering lengths this automatically combines shadow deceptions. And by interpenetrating different shapes and planes in particular extrusions elevates the concept of depth. This concept tests architecture’s traditional conception of massing that creates a figure that stands against the cities architectural facades.

FASHION SHOW PROPOSAL This floor plan is without the extrusions around. I wanted to convey the plan to show the circulation throughout. In the middle, the runway would open up, letting people walk through and be immersed in this set. The extrusions would encapsulate them, making them feel like they are part of the performance.
CRYSTALIZED FASHION SHOW Freelance Work Production Design Software Used / Rhino, 3DS Max, Illustrator, & Photoshop
Proposal for a fashion show set. Final renderings, plans and sections will be completed as soon as possible and will be updated accordingly. Fashion shows today are evolving into performances that tell a story of the collection. I wanted to create a set that was different from your usual show by encapsulating the audience in the set itself. The tubes around will be a clear and frosted to add dimension to the whole composition without losing focus on the models. I wanted to create a space where people will be immersed into the performance and feel like they are not missing out on the event. Lastly the color scheme for this event is extremely neutral, using only whites & grey.

The American Institute of Architecture Students is broken up into four quads that represent Architecture students from different regions. Each year a quad conference is hosted by one school from all four different quads to bring together students to network & learn about the disciplines inside and outside of architecture. In 2016 the Savannah College of Art & Design AIAS Chapter will be hosting the South Quad conference that will bring together 200-300 students from the southern region of the United States. I created the website where students are able to find out more information about our school, chapter, traveling, hotel, the theme of the conference & the events.
MODERN OASIS INTERIOR RENDERING Professor Huy Ngo 3DS Max Visualization Software Used / 3DS Max & Photoshop
Took a 10 week course that challenged our visualization skills through the use of the 3DS Max rendering software. Using what I have learned to create interior spaces that fulfilled my rendering skills after 10 weeks. The metallic figure is there to represent a scale figure so your eye can visualize the furniture in relation to the space.

These photographs symbolize a deeper meaning in the thoughts that go inside my head or depict a place of winder and awe. The picture symbolizes the nature of what self psychological harm can do to you. We are our worst enemies and over thinking can destroy us and take us into a dark hole where we can never get out. The girl in the photograph is contemplating in wonder, trying to escape the nostalgia & illusions she is perceiving to be cut throat and real. Throughout all these projects I tried to capture something that was unique to its context or create a moment of wonder. Through photographs we can convey how powerful emotions are over shadowed in our society.
