The sale was delayed. “The notice of sale had the wrong address and the property was transferred back to the borrower who has a pending chapter 11 bankruptcy case,” said local Beverly Hills attorney Ronald Richards, who represents Secured Capital Partners (SCP). “Also, we are negotiating with the lender to buy the debt.” The property was transferred back to Tower Park Properties, LLC, (TPP), Richards pointed out. “Since Secured Capital

By Matt Lopez Stricter cell phone policies could be on the horizon for Beverly Hills High School students. On Tuesday, the Board of Education continued a discussion that originally began in May regarding the institution of a cell phone use policy on the Beverly Hills High campus. Currently, there is no official district-wide policy on cell phone usage at BHUSD schools. Superintendent Michael Bregy said each school campus has guidelines and procedures laid out in their specific school handbooks. At BHHS, phones are to be turned off in the classroom, but can be used under the teacher’s discretion. It is an issue, however, that

"The City of Beverly Hills is committed to maintaining a respectful work environment free from harassment, retaliation and discrimination," said City Attorney Larry Wiener. "We have managed to reach agreements without the cost and distraction of trials so that the Beverly Hills Police Department can focus on its primary responsibility - keeping our community safe. If a cell phone is used during the school day, it will be confiscated.
