Hello, my name is Thor. Hola, mi nombre es Thor.
Directions: Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit Direcciones: Precalentar el horno a 300 grados Fahrenheit
I check to make sure he has everything ready to make the treats. Comprobe para asegurar que tiene todo listo para hacer el bocadillo.
I remind Derek to check the time so that my treats don’t burn. Le recuerdo a Derek que verifique el tiempo para que mis bocadillos no se quemen.
Hooray it is time to go inside. The treats should be done. Hooray es hora de ir adentro. Los bocadillos deben de estar listos.
The oven is hot. Stand back! El horno estรก caliente haste para tras.
After taking them out of the oven they need to cool down before I can have one. About 30 minutes. DespuĂŠs de sacarlos del horno necesitan enfriarse antes de que pueda tener uno. Alrededor de 30 minutos.
I decide to take a nap and dream of going to the park. Decido tomar una siesta y sueĂąo de ir al parque.
They are ready. Yum! I give Derek a high 5. Ya estan listos. Yum! Doy Derek un alto 5.
These taste amazing! Estos preban increĂble!
ABOUT THE AUTHORS Vail McCole has a MA in education and has been working in the field of early childhood for over 20 years from owning a family home care to working as a college instructor. This book, Thor's Peanut Butter Treats, blends her love of being with family, caring for animals, and cooking. She lives near the beautiful Colorado National Monument with her husband, two dogs, and a cat—who seems to think he is a dog. Derek McCole is the author of the cookbook Bison Bob’s Family Friends and Fantastic Food: Old Time Recipes With a Twist. This children’s book is based on one of the doggy treats recipes, starring Thor, Derek’s dog. Thor was rescued in Utah and joined the family during Derek’s senior year of high school. Though they have had their ups and downs—Thor chewed three different Xbox controllers in less than six months and shredded a Barney stuffed animal—Thor has been Derek’s best friend ever since he saw him on adoption day sitting scared in a crate.
