Bandhini has been designing beautiful handmade textiles for nearly 30 years, based out of our studio on the Gold Coast, Australia.
W E M A K E I T
Most of our designs are produced by our team of expert traditional craftsman in India, with a range of made-toorder designs also handmade by our in-house seamstress.
We strive to keep our product handcrafted without the use of heavy petrol based machinery.
We use handwoven natural fibres that are vat dyed with natural dyes, having no harsh impact on the environment.
Our products are made from the earth and after a lifetime of love, will gently return to the earth.
We have a strong focus on ethical labour. We work with our craftspeople to stay in their local villages, ensuring they are not displaced for work.
We believe that without the support, many ancient crafts will become extinct in the near future as generations move from craft-based production into petrochemical production.
Thats why we are making it our mission to keep craftsmanship alive.
