BAGMA training guide 2012

The British Agricultural and Garden Machinery Association (BAGMA), is the dealer trade organisation that was first established in 1917 as the National Association of Agricultural Engineers and Implement Dealers and has progressed through the last ninety or so years becoming BAGMA in 1972. One of the main roles of BAGMA is to ensure that new people are drawn into the land based industry sector and that they have access to training and apprentice programmes to ensure that they are fully trained to meet the developing technology that our industry uses, enjoys and benefits from. Working closely with industry stakeholders, the HSE, dealers, manufacturers and other training industry bodies such as Lantra Awards, the Institute of Motor Industries, City & Guilds, NFU, NPTC and others, BAGMA offers a wide range of industry related training courses for the benefit of its own members and others. BAGMA can deliver its training courses using its own trainers, Corporate Trainers, manufacturers’ or suppliers’ training staff and through BAGMA approved Training and Assessment Centres. BAGMA will train other companies’ staff to deliver BAGMA training courses where appropriate.
