Architecture as an art form has always enthralled me and has renewed my perception of built environments; intently observing an architect's design thinking, choice of materials, and composing a drama of aesthetics has reconditioned my mindset. Traveling to observe architecture and urban settings has now become a major focus of my life. Noticing how people respond to their environments has evoked me to do a methodical investigation into the process. Based on my observations, I realized the role architects and urban designers play to establish connections between people, built environments, open spaces, and ecology. The social conditions are different in planned and unplanned cities; good pedestrian networks, engaging public domains, and protected ecology are signs of a happy city. I gathered that it is a major task to restore order in unplanned cities, to which I want to learn methods to contribute and be a part of its
transformations.
