About Me
A small town boy, born in SriGanganagar and raised in parts of Rajasthan and Punjab. As a result of middle class upbringing, I have a tendency to make things work out in minimum possible resources. Apart from my learnings through educational and professional experiences, being a musician taught me that what ever you do, do it with complete zeal and passion. As a person, I jell up in new atmospheres easily and mix up with new people quite well.

Theme : Home Problem Brief : The flap part of the toilet seat comes in direct contact with the user’s skin and provides a medium to communicable diseases related to sanitation and skin. Most of the time user finds the seat dirty and even if the seat seems to be clean and dry, it is not free of infection. User either washes or covers the seat with a tissue paper and hence problem is just being worked around.
Problem Areas Dirt Stains
Foot prints
Urine stains
As per the survey, Females prefer not to touch the flap for smaller business
Need Statement: To Have a clean and hygenic toilet experience. Problem Finding through observation and public surveys.
Problems currently worked around by:
Washing with water
Wiping with tissue
Covering the flap with tissue
Ideation & Conceptualization
Common Middle Class Bathroom Out of the possibilities for the solutions, concepts were filtered according to the existing scenario. The toilet seat in a common family has a lifetime from 5 to 10 years or maybe even more. So the solutions that can fit into existing system and can be implemented within an acceptable cost were taken forward. Finally, the concepts were developed on the lines of cleaning the seat manually, efficiently yet hygienically.
Final Concept Replacable Abrasive Sterlizing pad
Thinner wall for inner side to drain out water inward from the sponge
Lid
Wipee clamps on the seat. It can be slided over the flap to clean and sterilize the seat before use. The inner cleaning abrasive pad wipes the seat with a
volatile soultion which cleans and disinfects the seat. This pad can be replaced timely. The product provides a better, clean and hygienic toilet experience without making any change in existing system within a reasonable cost.

Kits
! for kids
Small and handy kits which are quick to use!
Packaging Design Project Brief : The younger generation are willing to propose health as a priority but they do not carry such amenities with them. Therefore it is very important to come up with a solution of small defined kits that suit their needs. Current senario gives birth to the product we are trying to package - a mini first aid kit , which is handy with basic amenities for the younger ones. So the Objective was to create packaging design for mini first aid kit for kids.
fast aid
User Studies: The mini first aid kits are specially designed for the kids of 6 - 14 years of age. The kids of this age are generally carefree and love exploring the world. The working moms and dads might not be able to assist the kids all the time. Therefore, these kits are designed for the kids who enjoy playing outdoors and are full of energy.

The Material to be used is Polypropylene. Specifically OPP* or CPP** films can be used which are low cost packaging films & ideal for Shrink Wrap/Pillow high gloss Packaging. Specially the Metallised barrier OPP films could be used in order to protect the content from the oxygen migration, moisture or UV light. They are usually less expensive than laminates. * orientated polypropylene, ** cast polypropylene
Secondary Packaging
Retail & Distribution : The product especially made for school kids, hostelites or kids away from home . The product will be sold in pieces and in a pack of 25 as well. ME-25 2.0
Human Machine Interface (HMI) Project Brief : The guitar processor comes with a lot of predefined sounds and filters. For the beginners, the interface is tough to understand and get use to. The interface is not informative so user is prone to make mistakes while performing. So the target was to Re-design the interface of the guitar processors. BOSS ME-25 being the popular one among rookies is taken as the base model for existing interface.
Existing Interface 10 variations of the effect 6 families of different variations Drive, tone & volume 7-segment LED display Showing current memory number Foot operated FX padel To control different effects
Foot operated memory taps to select different effects out of a predefined memory of 60 effetcts
Foot operated loop recording tap With maximum loop length of 38 seconds

Study & Analysis Advisable Effect chain order:
Problems in existing interface: 1. No indication of the input/output signal.

2. Opposite placement of the controls as per human’s perception. 3. Input jack being ON/OFF control.

Mockup made to validate the new interface concept
New Concept of interface will enable a beginner to understand the direction of signal flow and hence user will be able to know the sequence of effects to be operated in order to get the desired output. It also makes it easy to operate and find the fault if the user is not getting desired output by dividing the interface into three parts of pregain, gain & postgain effects. The Input/output also have indications to show the signal strength.

Smart Pan A Dustpan that collects and stores.
Product Restyling Project Brief : To select an existing product, select the attributes to be changed and restyling the product in aspects of from and function. Product: Dust pan Design Statement : Dustpan is a product that is never kept inside the living area. Mostly, it is considered as the broom’s companion & is always found in the backyard. Target was to come up with a dustpan’s design which is decent enough to be kept inside the living area.
Approach
Key words from mind mapping: - Elegant - Clean - Simple - Spill-Proof - Classy - Stable - Size - Finish - Color - Texture - Allignment - Place to keep - Multi-purpose - Easy to use
Attributes like elegant, clean and simple were to be integrated in the new design. A little research about the existing types of dustpans helped to discover the key features and problems with a common dustpan. Mood board for the attributes initiated the form explorations.
Attributes Exploration Model
Explorations
New design was explored both ways, in form and function. As a result of explorations, a new function was added to dustpan which was to store the litter like a dustbin. Different forms explored were filtered on the basis of the attributes, simplicity and usability.
