TONYE AMACHREE Illustration

My name is Tonye Amachree, I was born and raised in Fresno, California. I'm in the BFA in Graphic Design with the emphasis in Illustration. The reason why I love to do illustration is for one, ever since I was a kid I've always had a love for drawing whether it'd be drawing random things or comic book characters like Spiderman, Hulk and so on. In the future I would love to work in the video game industry doing character design, and also do some comic books down the line.

Graphic Design is the perfect outlet for me to explore my creativity and continuously flex my problem solving skills. I have won several Student ADDY awards, as well as worked with many Fresno State Departments including the Student Health Center, University Courtyard and the Fresno State Winery.

CALLIE DUNEHEW Illustration

Animation is an obsession of mine. I love watching, making and reading about animation. I am fascinated by how the aesthetic qualities of a film, like screen direction, can support the message being told by the actual animation and dialogue. Because of this, my interest lies mostly in visual development and storyboarding. I genuinely love drawing, so I carry a sketchbook and pens wherever I go. People often recognize me by my brightly colored hair, which I've dyed every color from red to violet.

TABITHA FOUNTAIN Illustration

I am a self taught artist, drawing ever since I knew how to hold a pencil. Art has always been a part of my life and studying illustration has only helped improve my capabilities. My work evolves from a nonexistent world and always has some sort of curve, flow, or movement to it.

CONNIE GONG Graphic Design

Hi, my name is Connie Gong, and I'm a graphic design major and a business minor. I have always had a love for art and design of all kinds, and it has played a big role in my life to get me to where I am today. I like creating minimalistic, colorful, and unique designs. My creative style is inspired by animation - specifically Disney Pixar movies, anime, and My Little Pony. When I'm not designing, I'm often making handmade creations for my crafting business, The Bunny Wispery.

ALISHA GREEN Graphic Design

My name is Alisha Green and I am graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design, and a MCJ Minor in Marketing and Advertising. I am a Graphic Designer who is focused on being an In House Art Director, and a freelance Graphic Designer. My art work displays a wide range of different concept developments in a unique creative design. I like to use concepts of typography in my designs, to create a visual communication to my audience throughout my artwork. I want to be able to create designs that are used for corporate identities, and create Logos that can be used to represent a corporation’s identity. I plan to be able to use Marketing and Advertising experiences to network my graphic design career, and to eventually own my own Graphic Design and Web Design Company. iced4me@mail.fresnostate.edu 559.940.1735

MATT JAYNE Graphic Design

I feel good design achieves a “visual punch-line”. Through a combination of elements that lead up to a concise and cleaver message, the viewer should have a shift in his or her perception of a subject. I strive to figure out a means to achieve this spark in my work. Humor also plays a huge role. Not in the traditional sense of making someone laugh, but to tickle someone’s intelligence in a way that provokes a smirk.

LORI KIRBY Graphic Design

“If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.” - Vincent van Gogh. Learning how to find your creativity from within yourself is the biggest challenge I have ever met. Painting is my true passion and I think mostly because working with my hands satisfies my need to actually create something that has been hiding from within me. As a graphic designer I like to try and create artwork from outside the computer and then bring it together to make one beautiful creative piece.

JESSICA LOPEZ Graphic Design

My interest in art came from an early age from watching my mom draw illustrations for my book reports. Having little knowledge in art I decided to jump into Graphic Design, since then I have fallen in love with it. This journey would have not been as equally fun if I was not surrounded by amazing creative people. They have not only pushed me to become a better designer but have given me the encouragement to believe in my work, which I hope in the years to come will continue to evolve and bring much joy to me.

KERIANNE PACIFICO Graphic Design

What fascinates me most in life is how people can have the same problem yet solve it so differently. I love picking others brains for inspiration. Each individual is a novel of life experiences that I want to explore and learn from. I would rather see multiple points of view instead of being limited to my own. In other words I’m a perfectionist who works hard to find the unique solution.

TANNER ROSENTHAL Illustration

I have always loved drawing and art, growing up I always drew in class whenever I had free time. I was always inspired by comics, cartoons and anime. As I got older I became interested in video games, this is where my interest in character and concept development started. I was blown away with the characters and the scenery in the games, I knew someone somewhere had do come up with those ideas, and someday I wanted to be that person. In high school I even took game design my senior year at CART, for my class’ final game I was in charge of character and concept art along with a few others and that was a great experience. Now that I am in college I can finally move closer to my goal through the BFA program, I have learned so much through these past few years and met many people who have helped me in my journey along the way. t.rosenthal2.0@gmail.com 559.907.1443

DELANEY WHITE Illustration

Born and raised in California’s armpit (also known as Fresno), Delaney has been inspired from an early age to draw. Often seen riding through the suburbs on Billy the Unicorn, Delaney can also be found contemplating the meaning of life and cheese. After surviving a very short love affair with Dracula, Delaney headed towards the ever-elusive providence of Clovis where she conquered the ferocious war hounds and is currently breaking them into vehicular-guiding shape. Soon she, along with her war-hounds and pygmy-puma, will completely re-establish the art world as we know it!

NIC YOUNG Graphic Design

Hello. I’m a truly passionate designer from Illinois. Creativity is my inspiration to a life well lived; and laughter really is the best medicine. When I am not creating, or helping people laugh (insert one liner or foolish act), I am testing the bounds of gravity on my snowboard, mountain bike or climbing rock walls. I embrace change. It is in my reaction to change, in which I find out my true self.
