First year The topic of our first basic semester was Zoo by what we could take experiences and practises of different technologies while working out small duties.

Paper sculpture The task was to design some objects used for holding food for chosen animals showing their characters on it. We made our patterns from one piece of paper with cutting and folding, fitting without any adhesive.

Fashion design The task was to designed a tunic inspired by an animal or some part of it. We could only use premised material and we completed our piece without dying or combining with any other fabric.

Pattern design Our task was to make hand made blocks for block printing and design colour patterns and compositions of our chosen animals, using not less than four colours. My theme was poultry-yard.

Second year Accessory (Leather) design Our task was to redesign a 20th century bag by making a set of 3 pieces. I chose a box purse from the fifties, focusing on it’s box-kind, and production technology. Aimed at pieces with clear appearance which looks exciting when opened. The purses’ shapes are only broken by the trace of assimetric opening slots that divide their body into two uniqe geometrical structure.

Printed textile design Order and Chaos We had to make compositions of order and one 150*60cm piece of chaos for an optional theme. I chose shopping. The place was a market where I picked the elements from. I wanted to express the post-shopping chaos when everything lies around disorderly and put it’s pieces into an order for another composition afterward.
