INTERVIEWS: CHRISTMAS
1. What is your favourite Christmas song/film? I like Villa’s films and all the traditional catholic songs 2. What do you like about Christmas?
I like Christmas trees, decorations, Christmas cards, songs, cribs and rides of the cribs and staying with my family for dinner. 3.What do you do at Christmas? I have Christmas lunch, I listen to the Mass and I receive visits from relatives. 4. Who do you spend Christmas with? I spend Christmas with my relatives or friends.
5. What is the meaning of Christmas? In my opinion the meaning of Christmas is sharing and staying together. 6. What is the first Christmas you remember? I can remember the last one I spent with my Husband in 1943/1944. 7. Is there difference in society when you were a child and now (at Xmas)? Before we were less interested in gifts .Now we are more interested in material things. than staying with the family. 8. What radio do you listen to? How often? Where? I don’t listen to the radio, but I watch TV every day.
9. What genre of music?
I like Italian music . 10. Why are carol concerts important? Are they traditional and should we bother with them?
Because they are linked to the Christmas traditions. They are traditional. 11. Do you prefer carols (traditional) or newer popular music songs? I like all songs and I like new popular music songs. 12. What do you eat at Christmas? I eat fish On Christmas Eve as usual and I eat “Capon”,“Panettone”, “Pandoro”, “Cavallucci” and “Panforte” on Christmas day. By Elisa and Alice

We think that nowadays kids can have everything they desire and it’s too much for them. When we were younger we were happy even if we received just a doll . 8) What radio do you listen to? How often? Where? They don’t listen to the radio but they watch TV.
