A HANDS-ON APPROACH TO CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY TRAINING IN HIGH SCHOOL

The Donald Chaiken Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA) is a four-year high school construction training curriculum designed to build awareness of the various career options in construction and provide students the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to pursue a career in the building industry.

BITA provides a trained workforce to meet industry demand, offset worker retirement, and avoid labor shortages. BITA enhances the public perception of the building industry, its diverse career opportunities, and hardworking employees.
