NextGen Update:

Shannon Whittaker BIAOC NextGen Chair Senior Forward Planner, Landsea Homes

NextGen had a very busy and successful 1st quarter. We kicked off the year with a Happy Hour event in Newport Beach that had an incredible turn out. In February Landsea Homes hosted a site tour of their Petra Avelina project located in San Juan Capistrano. There were 40+ attendings and the group was walked through the vertical construction with an emphasis on post tension foundations and framing. In March New Home’s Michael Battaglia was the featured Evening Buzz guest. Michael shared his experience with the group and his hopes for the future.

For the 2nd quarter we are going to have our first government affairs event where we will focus on advocacy training. We will host a happy hour specifically dedicated for donations to HomeAids Diaper Drive. We have a combined site tour with BIAOC planned and a mixer with Emerging Leaders from the Inland Empire.

We are looking forward to the next quarter and continue growing our footprint within Orange County. 
