Hazira Hazira, a port town under rapid industrialisation, is a natural flood plain constricted by the construction of industries along the coast and the undulating terrain, resulting in fluvial and coastal flooding respectively. There are several issue plaguing in the town such as lack of identity , arbitrary development in the face of the international investment ,economical unbalanced nodes, and reduced ecological environment. The proposal aims to create a water system that not only channelises the flow of river water and manages the blocked water in the depressions but also responds to the needs of other actors (agriculture, villages, other inhabitants, industries) by weaving them together, resulting in an inclusive system. It is an opportunistic approach as it utilises the existing conditions on site (natural, social, cultural) to achieve the desired aim. 3

The masterplan of zoning is inspired by the existing

depression in Hazira. The monsoon channel gives a strong identity to this place. Together with the Green mesh (field, park, green corridor) hold the dimension of ECOLOGY. And I am introducing a coastal railway to enhance the traffic system ,attracting the potential investment and integrating the preserved village, the industry and the ecosystem. Thus ,it is the ECONOMY dimension.

During the intensive rain period (Jul.-Sep.) minor or major flooding events are happening vertical and horizontal .The small terrain depression is limited in absorbing when water fallen in m3/s is too large.

Urbanization starts on land with the highest value, the new high-end development would improve surrounding urban villages, recycling their water .This water once been treated could be used for irrigation and leisure purpose.
The masterplan proposes the waterloop strategy which represents the perpetual flux of infrastructurally meditated flow movement and exchange, thus the infrastructure landscape won’t work in separate unit. Continuous

BUILDING USE CONFIGURATION
The monsoon channel forms the artery and commercial heart , a cluster of new buildings forming a communal spaces with pathways emerging out of it . The hierarchy of open space begins from small courtyards to parks between buildings and then to larger space. The local villagers will benefit from the rising value of the land by getting jobs in new enterprise and living in ecological environment in low risk of flooding.

It is a typical resource-based city that seek to industry diversion to high value added ones, particularly the tourism. As part of the Longyue Lake Scenic Resort ,the project is proposed to be a profitable comprehensive teenager base invested by local government. Thus the proposal of the operation and design are combined relied on the research. We tried to unscramble the object client and designed the Chinese Knot Island ,where the experiential study and natural-closed practice is sparkplugging!

According to the upper class zoning and plan, the two islands are located in the ecological sensitive region. The special sanctuary of bird is needed. Moreover, it is required to build stop for mini train and battery bus in north. The tourist center and other service facilities are in average level.

The idea of the main building â&#x20AC;&#x201C; KNOT BUILDING is inspired by the shape of traditional Chinese Knot which has the auspicious meaning in accordance with the concept of the teenager base, such as everlasting accompany and the spirit of teamwork. Moreover the KONT BUILDING is used as the major base for modeling career and exhibiting. The communication of the indoor and outdoor space is free but orderly.

There are retailing stores and coffee bars .It is a lively space that enabled students explore the social and after class knowledge. The design of the water system is base on the research of site study and hydrologic data . The information suggested that the implementation of the gray water recycling is applicable in site. The recycle management will start as experiment in new constructions, providing the useful data for spreading.

Maybe every man has had two such women——at least two. Marry a red rose and eventually she'll be a mosquito-blood streak smeared on the wall, while the white one is "moonlight in front of my bed." Marry a white rose, and before long she'll be a grain of sticky rice that's gotten stuck to your clothes; the red one, by then, is a scarlet beauty mark just over your heart. -Eileen Chang ,RED ROSE, WHITE ROSE Two actors play the different facets of humanity of the same character in the drama. The concept of the theatrical design for RED ROSE, WHITE ROSE is to create the multidimensionality on the stage to reflect the conflicts between the id, ego and superego of the characters. For the campus drama, I mainly used easily practical strategies, such as projection, separation, ,and specular reflection.

The frames in the middle repre-
sents the sleepy id of Zhenbao, who is a trusty man balanced his love and career. However, the ordered inner-self is easily changeable and have affect on the dailylife space on both sides.

Zhenbao had a crash on Jiaorui.
Motivated by the inflating id, he chose irresponsible love with Jiaorui and cheated his classmates. The frames acted as the boundary of id and ego, disorder and disconnected. Also the stage is an enframed scenery.

Jiaorui divorced with Shihong,
however abandoned by Zhenbao under the pressure of society. Zhenbao suffer from the conflicts of id, ego and superego. The frames seems order, actually they are the maize with high tension, sorrow, and despair.
Zhenbao got marred with
another woman without love. He cheated his wife and lost himself. The frames connected again. Every one involved in this vortex finally balanced their id ,ego and superego. 16
