Michael Cunningham

Ohio, EUA, 1952) He studied
English literature at Stanford University, where he earned his degree. Later, at the University of Iowa, he received a Michener Fellowship and was awarded a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Is the author of the novels A Home at the End of the World, Flesh and Blood, The Hours (winner of the Pen/Faulkner Award & Pulitzer Prize), The Snow Queen, Specimen Days, and By Nightfall, as well as the nonfiction book, Land's End: A Walk in Provincetown. His last book, A Wild Swan and Other Tales (illustrated by Yuko Shimizu) was published in November 2015. He is a Senior Lecturer at Yale University and lives in New York.
