The Airshow opened Avalon’s gates to over 180,000 people during the action packed six days, holding
exhibition days and three days of public aircraft displays. Justin Giddings, Avalon Airport’s CEO has applauded Airshow organisers saying the 2013 show was yet another successful show and a well planned and executed event. “This year was one of the very best in number of attendees and flight displays, the airport was buzzing with people and aircraft from all over the world,” he said. Mr Giddings said the Airshow also gives Avalon Airport an

This event has been wonderful in helping us come closer to achieving that goal, we have hosted a number of international airlines at Avalon’s Chalet.” Mr Giddings has worked in aviation for over 20 years, and he still continues to get excited by the
this year was the first time the US Air Force displayed the Lockheed Martin Stealth Fighter. “Attendees on the public days were spoilt with perfect weather for flying and for spectating.
