Foreigner customers now eligible for BIDV e-banking services

BIDV officially began offering e-banking products to foreigners and Vietnamese non-residents.

Foreigner customers and Vietnamese non-residents can now register for BIDV SmartBanking and BIDV Online, particularly:

BIDV SmartBanking service: For individuals (resident and non-resident) of 18 years of age and above having full civil act capacity; or of 15 years of age and above with no limited or lost civil act capacity according to the provisions of Vietnamese law; or household businesses holding a current account at BIDV registered to their mobile phone number.

BIDV Online service: For individuals (resident and non-resident) of 18 years of age and above having full civil act capacity; or of 15 years of age and above with no limited or lost civil act capacity according to the provisions of Vietnamese law, holding a current account and registered mobile phone number with BIDV.

Foreigner customers and Vietnamese non-residents using BIDV SmartBanking and BIDV Online will be able to access all financial and nonfinancial features with the exception of online savings transactions and gifting transactions.
