BIDVRUN lasted for 20 days between 25 April and 14 May 2021, ended two days earlier than planned due to the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic. The race attracted athletes from all regions including customers, employees and especially foreigners. 241 teams with 28,375 athletes participated, running a distance of 1.39 million km, donating more than VND5.8 billion (USD252,000). The money will be used for building floodproof community houses in floodprone provinces across the country.

The icing on the cake is that for every valid 22km, participating athletes could contribute 1 tree. With the distance recorded, 63,384 trees worth VND3.17 billion were contributed to the program “BIDV - 1 million trees” as response to the "1 billion trees" project initiated by the Prime Minister for the period of 2021 - 2025.

The running race ended but the philanthropic spirit still lingers. It is hoped that customers and BIDV employees will continue to maintain their daily workout routine and healthy habits, actively participating in movements to contribute to promoting BIDV's brand and image – the bank for community. It was also the chance for BIDV to spread the image of healthy, dynamic, energetic and devoted employees who always run forward.
