MAKE AMERICA GREAT A G A I N ! 2020
TRUMP WILL SMASH DEMOCRATS 2020 ELECTIONS By Matthew Snape | Columnist CTM Donald Trump has rightly exposed Obama's true legacy for many people across the United States. Obamacare has caused premiums for middle class families to skyrocket. America's position in the world has been weakened. Millions of Americans are dependent upon welfare. The world is a much more dangerous place than when George W. Bush left office thanks to ISIS and Russia both threatening global peace. But to suggest Obama did not contact any families of military veterans during his presidency is low, even for President Trump. He has made many outrageous comments that have caused hysteria, yet this one focuses on actions Obama did not avoid taking. The President should concentrate on what his predecessor did not do in office and repair the damage he inflicted on the United States for 8 years. Regardless of all the breaking news emerging from Washington, President Trump is on the verge of victory in 2020. Everything that has happened since January does not matter in the long-term. Since his inauguration in January, the Trump administration has been distracted by nothing but scandals. President Trump has had one of the rockiest starts in living memory. He has made a series of bold yet controversial decisions that have shaken the political establishment's existence. He has dared to speak out against the actions of "Crooked Hillary", which many would argue is counter-productive considering he won last year's general election. Yet his words have only

Whilst she blames the Russians and numerous other factors for her defeat following her recent book tour. President Trump removed former FBI director James Comey. Many suggest that this decision was motivated by the President's intention to bury Putin's involvement in the presidential election. However, the establishment has such a disastrous reputation among the electorate that others viewed Comey's actions as an attempt to hide the sheer scale of corruption during Hillary's years as a ISSUE 13 | DECEMBER CHRISTMAS EDITION

TRUMP WILL SMASH DEMOCRATS IN 2020 secretary of state, whereby she used a private email server to send government emails and delete them. Yet the President's removal of Comey only showed that he was being true to his campaign pledge to drain the Washington swamp. And Congress hate that. To speed up the President's possible impeachment, politicians kept turning their attention to potential links between the Trump campaign and the Russians.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Jared Kushner was forced to admit that his father-in-law's campaign team had meetings with Russian figures during the election to discuss future relations between their respective countries, although that was interpreted by the mainstream media as an indication of further links between both sides. The press has attempted to destroy the Trump presidency slowly. They have constantly reported on the President's failure to repeal Obamacare, even though that was more the fault of spineless Republican politicians who have failed to scrap this scheme since they stormed Congress in 2010. Both the Grand Old Party and Democrats have united in their efforts to undermine the President by voting against replacing Obamacare. Despite this, the mainstream media has focused on other stories recently. President Trump is the first leader since George W. Bush who has concentrated US foreign policy on removing
The Trump administration has been engulfed in dramatic events since January, but despite this, it is increasingly likely the President will be re-elected in 2020. The Democrats are failing to provide any credible opposition to the current Commander-in-Chief. For all the Republicans' faults in blocking the President's policies, the opposition are worse. The Harvey Weinstein scandal has exposed Hollywood's links to the Democrat Party and portrayed them as hypocrites in many Americans' eyes.
North Korea. Considering how far this situation has accelerated, it is certain the President may succeed in eliminating Pyongyang through military conflict. China will not support the President's proposed actions and is reluctant to enforce the United Nations' recent sanctions against North Korea. Either way, removing Pyongyang may well significantly boost the President's ratings at home.
Hillary Clinton said on The Andrew Marr Show in the UK that she is horrified by the extent of sexual abuse Mr. Weinstein committed. Yet she is married to one of the most prolific sexual abusers in American political history. She claims she did not know anything about the Hollywood producer's misdemeanours, but considering all the lies she told during her campaign last year, how can anybody believe her? Memes have been distributed across social media mocking celebrities' false reactions to Mr. Weinstein whilst revealing their past involvement with the man. Like these celebrities, Mr. Weinstein was a major Democrat donor. This all makes for poor publicity for the Democrat Party and tarnishes their image further. They are in an unfortunate position considering mid-term elections are looming around the corner. ISSUE 13 | DECEMBER CHRISTMAS EDITION

TRUMP WILL SMASH DEMOCRATS IN 2020 What is worse is that Hillary continues to do the Democrats no favors. Many of her former colleagues continue to distance themselves from her. They portray her as a liability. Yet her family still holds considerable influence over the Democrat Party. Last year, Hillary had the support of major donors and she quashed her main rival, Bernie Sanders. America is not a socialist country and ten years after the 2007 Credit Crunch commenced, this ideology has failed to capture Americans' imaginations. The only substantial support Bernie received was from millennials who feel like their parents' opportunities have been stolen from them since the financial crash.
Earlier this year, it was reported Bernie was touring American states in a bid to gather support for a potential 2020 bid. Many other left-wing Democrats like Senator Elizabeth Warron of Massachusetts and Jeff Merkley of Oregon are also flirting with the idea of contending for the 2020 nomination. If either of the far-left Democrat contenders succeed, many in the Democrat establishment fear that they will face another humiliating defeat. Whilst it appeared to be unlikely that Donald Trump was not a serious contender for the White House in the early months of 2016, his victory captured the imaginations of millions of working class Americans who were angry that the political system was biased against them. He provided them with a platform of genuine hope that their personal fortunes could be altered through a remedy of tax cuts, improved healthcare and low regulations. He helped reinvigorate the American Dream that died during the 2007-08 Great Recession and portrayed the Obama presidency as a complete fraud. If a socialist contends the 2020 Democrat nomination and Hillary also campaigns for a second chance, with her influence, she may well succeed in becoming the 2020 Democrat presidential nominee, but not because she is admired in her party. It is possible they would rather have her again than a socialist if there are no other serious applicants. It is no wonder Donald Trump welcomes Hillary's third attempt to become President; he beat her once and if he delivers on all his promises, he can do so again. The truth is that the tide is now turning for the Trump administration's fortunes. Many argue that economic recovery started under the Obama administration and that is true, to a certain extent. Nonetheless, President Trump's policies are capable of
building on that progress. There are still many problems the President has inherited from his predecessor that need sorting as soon as possible, but it is remarkable how much the Trump administration has achieved behind closed doors. Secretary of State for Housing Ben Carson recently told the Washington Examiner that he is glad the White House is receiving so much flack because it means he can quietly continue with his own job. Border security has dramatically improved since Donald Trump took office. Customs and Border Protections reported that apprehensions of unauthorized people are down from 20 per cent from the same time in 2016. He has achieved this without building his wall or imposing his ban on Muslims travelling to the United States from certain countries. Whilst engaging in legislative battles with Congress, President Trump has scored a huge victory by appointing Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court instead of Obama's appointee Merrick Garland. Veteran Democrat official Ron Klain acknowledged the President's success in appointing youthful conservatives to judicial office.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has already removed numerous laws the Obama administration enacted. For example, the 2015 Waters of the United States rule, which aimed at protecting smaller streams of water as well as larger ones, and bans on drilling in the Arctic and Atlantic Ocean have already been removed. 30 other environmental rules have also been scrapped, which the EPA regarded as the fastest eradication of environmental rules in the agency's 47-year history. Earlier this year. President Trump removed the United States from Obama's Paris Climate Accord and has refused to budge since, despite pressure from European leaders to re-join the scheme. The State Department has paved the way for the construction of the Keystone XL. The Interior Department is considering reversing a regulation on tracking on public lands and may also eradicate some equipment rules on offshore drilling equipment implemented after the 2010 Gulf oil spill. The State Department has also scrapped a ban on coal mining on public lands. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been instrumental in strengthening the federal government's power of civilasset forfeiture, a practice that enables police to seize cash and goods from suspected criminals. During the Obama years, prosecutors were discouraged from ISSUE 13 | DECEMBER CHRISTMAS EDITION

TRUMP WILL SMASH DEMOCRATS IN 2020 enforcing tough sentences on petty drug dealers. Since Sessions became Attorney General, that has quickly changed. The stock market continues to boom and unemployment is dropping, but the President has been true to his word in aiding that recovery by scrapping certain regulations that stifle business innovation and encourage free enterprise. Large parts of the Dodd-Frank financial regulation law have been repealed and the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau has had its powers curbed. 391 new regulations have been delayed from being implemented. Since Donald Trump took office, trading blocs have slowly begun to collapse. The President favors bilateralism over unilateralism. That is why he has gone to great lengths to offer Britain a free trade deal when it leaves the European Union (EU), an organization President Trump has never demonstrated any sympathy for. The EU is one of the largest protectionist ratchets in the world. After taking office, the President withdrew the United States from the Trans-Atlantic Pacific Partnership and all hopes of a trade deal with the EU have vanished. The Trump administration is currently renegotiating the North Atlantic Free Trade Agreement, which has not been revised since the 1990s. If the President can achieve this aim, that is another key manifesto promise achieved.
campaign pledge. She may also prove useful in helping the President to curb illegal immigration. But if the Trump administration scraps Obamacare and legislates the President's tax reforms, it is more than certain he would have already won the 2020 presidential election. Unlike other presidents, he has already started campaigning now. He just needs to be cannier about the way he governs. The tide has turned for Donald Trump. He may well succeed in transforming the landscape of American politics forever. If he has achieved this much in less than a year, imagine what he is capable of for the remainder of his term in office. This is just the beginning of the Trump revolution.
President Trump has also made it clear the Iran Agreement will be scrapped, despite provoking further hostility from European leaders. This arrangement never prevented Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons in the long-term, but delayed them from developing nuclear technology for 15 years. It failed to address Tehran's links to terrorist organizations. The Trump administration deserves credit for being the only government in the world bold enough to address the Iran Agreement's flaws
Domestically, the President is gathering enough support to pass through his radical tax cuts. This policy would aid millions of families across the United States who have struggled since the financial crash. Considering his own party has betrayed his trust on repealing Obamacare, President Trump has cleverly turned to House Minority Leader Nancy Peloski to aid him in delivering his key

So, it was indeed an honor for me to meet him in 1972. He asked me then If I might "want to become involved somewhat in his re-election campaign?" I replied, "Possibly so." gcttyirT]gges^

i In 1972,1 had the opportunity to meet United States Senator John Tower(R) from Texas. It was at a Republican Party function here in Dallas, Texas. I found the senator to be very friendly and accommodating. I had been recommended to meet him from my dear friend in Central Texas, Dr. A. E. Van Wey. At that time, Dr. Van Wey was very much into Republican party politics and was a financial supporter of Sen. Tower and other Republican candidates. I wasn't so much "involved" in politics then, but I thought since Dr. Van Wey was involved, and knew the senator personally upon his recommendation to me, I thought, "Why not?" The event was packed and after Senator Tower spoke, and the meeting was over, I made my way up to the platform and met Senator Tower. I considered it an honor to "shake hands" with and meet a United States Senator. Senator John G. Tower has the unique distinction of being the very first Republican U S Senator from the state of Texas. Prior to that, the Democrats had controlled Texas politics for more than 130 years. When Senator Tower won as a senator from Texas, he broke the "stranglehold" the Democrats had over Texas politics, and Republicans began to Win races in Texas. Senator Tower had served a stint in the U S Navy and had achieved the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. His time in the Navy led him to have served in WWII, and as a Veteran he was esteemed and honored. Born in Houston, he served in the Pacific Theater during the war and later became a radio announcer and a teacher at Midwestern University. Being a Democrat in the early 1950s, he switched parties from being a Democrat to the
I thought that I just might "get involved" in a small way, and did so later. That is what we call, "getting our feet wet" into politics. My involvement in Sen. Tower's campaign went from Grassroots work in one county to "working" in 7 different counties. He had a great Grassroots volunteer team all over the state of Texas, and he won his re-election bid by more than 300,000 votes. Today, I am very much appreciative for the opportunity of meeting Sen. John Tower. And when I heard the news that he was a passenger in a private plane that crashed in Brunswick, Georgia in 1991,1 had very deep and sorrowful feelings. I actually felt that I had lost a "friend." My involvement in Senator Tower's campaign back then gave to me many wonderful experiences into the political realm which have led me to many more campaigns through the years. I have "stomped the pavement" for many more individuals, both men and women, who have sought political offices from local city councils to state wide positions, and from judicial offices to Gubernatorial and Presidential campaigns. If you count the years, you'll see that there is more than 45 years of experiences "under my belt;" and I have always learned many unique lessons along the way. Today, I am a candidate for the U S Congress, Congressional District 5, here in Texas. I am running for political office because our government in Washington is "failing" the people throughout America. The politicians make many "promises" when they 'Run for office.' Yet, when they get elected - they don't keep their promises and they fail their constituents back home. I am running for the U S Congress because I want to bring honesty and integrity to Washington - and "Make a difference" with my life and "actions" while I serve the voters of District 5.1 am telling people, "Congressional district 5 in Texas needs bold leadership! values: knowing what they are and adhering to them in a strong manner. The district needs bold leadership from a person who will not cater to the "ordinary devices" of Washington DC. In Texas, we hold ourselves dear to our Constitutional values, our family traditions, a strong National economy, a National security that is "second-tonone" and Common-sense spending." "I believe I am that "Bold leader" with the International experience and leadership to represent the people of District 5 in Washington in a manner of clarity, understanding, wisdom and honor. This district just doesn't need another "good old boy" in Washington - "learning the ropes" after he arrives, and "following orders" from the 'old heads' there now. "Our district here in Texas needs a 'Bold leader' from Day one! I am that Leader! "I Will "Be prepared" to lead on Day One; I Am Prepared To Lead now! I will Serve the voters of Congressional District 5 with honor, respect, dignity and Integrity. You will NEVER be disappointed that You cast a Vote for Charles Lingerfelt! "You know me and have known me for years. You know that You Can Trust Charles Lingerfelt In Washington! I am a Man who "gets things done!" I don't 'back down' to anyone when Duty requires honesty and integrity. I can bring this district together and be the leader in Washington that is needed for this day and time. I am asking you to stand with me: with your help and support and your vote in the Primary next March. "I am "Ready to Go to Washington" to serve the people of Congressional District 5 in the U S House of Representatives! "On 5 November 2017 through Facebook LIVE, I announced my candidacy for Congressman of the Texas 5th. Congressional district. I am a strong Conservative Republican with more than 44 years experience in the Texas grassroots! I have the 'name recognition' and the experience as a Constitutional "protector" for this position in Washington; and I pledge myself to the voters of Congressional District 5 that you will have a continued Strong voice in Washington who will not sway or waiver to the "whims of big money" or "crooked politics!" Throughout my life I have sought to 'Make a Difference' with my life - No matter the capacity, or position in which I have served. Honesty and Integrity have ALWAYS been very Important to me and will continue to be so after I am elected Congressman of the 5th. District of Texas. I truly want to 'Make a Difference' in Washington - because our nation is in critical need of good men and women of character, honesty and Integrity to serve in our nation's capital. I pray that God will help me, as I work hard and tirelessly to achieve the position as a Member of The U S House of Representatives - to God be the glory. Sincerely, Charles Lingerfelt

LEGISLATING MORALITY Part 2
Christopher Grahn Howard CTM Columnist & Republican Activists
Christians must work to change the hearts and minds of our children and others. This is the evangelical call to action. Remember that liberals worship at the altar of government, a secular solution to God. Government is controlled by man, not God. Liberals follow a theology based on the goodness and deity of mankind. An extension of the existential man and superman philosophy that defines live by the sum of decisions made by an individual being the meaning of life.
Last month's article sparked some debate solely based on the title. The greatest fear of liberals is that conservative Christians would try to legislate our morality. As Christians, we should not do this. Why? The answer is simple and at the core of our faith. Accepting Jesus into our hearts is a matter of the personal action, that must be done willingly, be moved to do so and at the leading of the Holy Spirit. That acceptance cannot be legislated, coerced or mandated. I have never advocated a theocracy and never will for this country or any, for that matter. Would you as a Christian want atheists to legislate their morality and force you to accept those standards? To be honest, that has been exactly the case in the United States for the last 60 years
The secular humanists have been doing that very thing. A gradual erosion of the fabric of the American way of life; one based that is based on the Judeo-Christian philosophy. Every aspect of our constitution is based on biblical principals. One of the intense dilemmas facing this country right now is that our Constitution and the majority of our laws are in fact based on Christian ethics. What is the dilemma? Christian ethics are now a minority view, not properly taught and even less believed in. Our Constitution and laws are based on a worldview no longer widely accepted. Legislating morality is not the answer. Laws can be overturned, changed and replaced. The Christian wanting the legislate their morality are violating the central tenant of our faith in that our actions are to be guided by the relationship we have in Christ and not the legalistic approach. Christians must step up in setting the example and being the light Jesus asked us to be. Our faith cannot be forced, it must be freely accepted. The heart is the matter, not laws.
Mankind is nothing more than the collective of whatever they say they are. The issue here is that this modern existentialism still does not resolve the problem of the abyss. All of those decisions and self-worship still lead to nothing. Nothing is at the end of the line. This selfcentered belief system develops into a form of tyranny based on self-love. This ultimately empty self-absorbed personal philosophy leads the follower to the abyss/Hell. The abyss then gives license to no ultimate accountability. For the Christian, this makes no sense. We, as Christians know we belong to one greater than ourselves, a part of something bigger than ourselves. We are accountable to each other, our government and most of all to our Lord and savior. In this worldview, anything can be legitimized, as long as it is legitimized by the government and only by the government. The amorality of the left is being legislated. This we must fight against and yet we must be cautious. Cautious to not legislate our morality. This is an undeniably difficult task, as Christians, we know that American jurisprudence is based on the Christian ethic. Christianity is the fulcrum of our laws. We want to legislate our morality on so many issues. However, we must stand against the erosion of the Christian ethic that is the foundation of our legal system. If a person is defined only by the decisions they make... they can make themselves a man or woman no matter how they were born, they can make pedophilia acceptable, they can remove truth from the vocabulary and create their own truth. Most of all they are desperately trying to legitimize their sin and nullify the law of God; which is in all of us no matter our acknowledgment of where it originates. To deny the natural law set in us by God allows the redefining of every aspect of our lives. Establishing a new tyranny of those who, despite denying the existence of God, to recuse

themselves from Gods law. Christians should know to be thankful and who to be thankful to. Failure to be thankful to God diminishes God's role in our lives and distorts our proper view of ourselves, this distortion leads to a sense of entitlement. One which we do not deserve, cannot purchase and cannot earn. I do not believe in Martians and spend no time trying to prove they do not exist. Unlike atheists who desperately need for God to be proven false at every turn. Secular humanists need to equate the world's religions, thereby diminishing each and Christianity most of all. Legislating liberal atheist morality, if you can call it that, is an attempt to legitimize their sins. So when you hear complaints against Christians legislating morality, remember that they are most likely trying to legislate their own or defend what has already happened. The greatest fear of the left from president Trump is that he will reverse several decades of liberal legislated morality. Too often the cry for separation of church and state is nothing more than the open fear of our Christian ethics being discussed in the marketplace of ideas. After all this time, even the demons fear the name of the Lord and so do the secular humanists. I realize this all sounds as if I am talking out of both sides of my mouth. America was founded a Christian nation, one built on the foundation of biblical principles. Not a theocracy leveraged out of the Old Testament. Christians must stand for the light and right of our faith.

The LORD is my shepherd, I Shall not want! Encouraging Christians the Lord will provide all your needs! That's right! By Pastor Dan Brien, Chairman, The Bible Institute For Truth And Learning A psalm of David. PSALM 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
i
Dear Christian Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ need to know how God treats his children. You've been adopted into the family of God now, so you're a member of the LORD'S household. And as any loving father, the LORD God is obligated to take care of you. That's right! For Him It's doesn't just dependent on how much faith you have, it's a responsibility he has looking after your well being. As his child he must provide you food, clothing, and shelter, and everything else in life you need to live. Understand, now you share in all the benefits of having a heavenly father who loves you very much, and as your provider, his soul intention is to provide their spiritual, emotional and physical needs. You have an older brother Jesus Christ, who is God's first born Son. And as the eldest Son Jesus has the primary duty to protect his little brothers from harm. When we come to God, we start out as new born babies. As babies we cannot take care of ourselves spiritually. We must grow up in the grace and knowledge of our older brother Jesus Christ to become the mature children the Father desires in his kingdom. For most of us our faith is not strong, neither is our patience. So it's the LORD Jesus' responsibility to be our shepherd along the way. He teaches us the way of our heavenly father as any older brother is obligated to do. Of all the Godly men in the old Testament, King David of Israel, had one of the most wholesome and well rounded relationships with God of any man who ever lived. David was a shepherd of his father's sheep.

He was also man after God's own heart! So he understood the LORD as a loving father figure. He knew the LORD is a righteous God, with strict rules to his kingdom. But he also knew the LORD as a compassionate shepherd over his sheep Israel, full of forgiveness and tender mercies. And David trusted in God's love with all his heart. But David wasn't perfect. He committed some very serious sins against the Lord. One was murder. And the other adultery. Both sins were punishable by death in the eyes of God, and also under the law of Moses. But David was quick to repent. And so God forgave David, and didn't put him to death as he deserved. Therefore David saw that God's bark is worst than his bite. The LORD is strong and all powerful, but also kind and gentle. He is sinless and without fault, but patient with us in our afflictions, and understanding of our sins and weaknesses. That's why David had such a good relationship with God. Your heavenly father wants to have the same relationship with you. You're his child now, so trust the Lord to provide all your needs. He's going to provide for you anyways, but he wants you to have an active faith in him. Take a chance, participate in obedience, and over time you'll see the Lord's handywork in your life. In fact, for new Christians, most of the time the Lord works immediately after you believe, doing for you all kinds of good deeds, and performing small miracles and in your life. At first, that's him letting you know he's with you, giving you a sense no harm will come to you. These times of God's grace can often make you feel as if you cannot die. You think to yourself, even if my car drives off a cliff God won't let me die. He does this to make you feel special and loved, as if God's blanket of protection is over you, and your families life. And it's true. I myself remember feeling this way in 2005. That year, the Lord asked me to trust him. You see, I suffer from Bi-Polar disorder and obsessive compulsive behavior. And in May of that year, the Lord asked me to trust him that one day he would set me free from my mental illness. I took my first true leap of faith in God's love that day. And it was the proudest moment of my life. At that time, I was so disabled, I wasn't able to hold much responsibility in life. I couldn't use soap or shampoo when showering. I wasn't able to keep my apartment clean. And I couldn't work or produce good things for other people. The Lord said take a chance, at least you'll be free from the lies. So I started taking chances. Sure enough, over time the lies started falling away, and reality came back to my mind. From 2005 onward I slowly started making progress. In 2008 I became a creative woodworker and produced a number of handcrafted walking sticks, chess sets,
The LORD is my shepherd, I Shall not want!
decorative tables and wooden games. And by God's grace, I was able to donate many of the chess sets and wooden games to junior highs, and high schools in the area. In 2010 I decided it was time to put my theories about philosophy and theoretical physics on paper. So I began writing about The Three Particle Principle. This principle glorifies the Almighty God of the Bible by demonstrating that, "Life come in three parts". You see, God created things with three characteristics within themselves. They are the same three in everything. And each thing contains with a different portion of these same three characteristics, as you look deeper and deeper into the composition of things. The purpose of this principle is to show the difference between things. And it accomplishes this by analyzing the three parts to one thing, and then by comparing them to the three parts of another thing, it becomes possible for scientists, and common people alike, to distinguish the difference between the two things. The principle shows the striking similarities between the Almighty God of the Bible, the Universe, the Atom, and the English language. They all come in three parts. And they all fall perfectly into the exact same pattern within this principle. In 2016,1 founded The Bible Institute For Truth And Learning, website. Now I'm a writer for Christian Times Magazine. I'm not free from my metal disability yet, but the Lord is constantly proving he's with me as I trust him daily. My younger brother Mark felt this way around the same time. One day he and his family were driving over the mountain on their way home from the city. When, just as they came around a corner, an oncoming car was in their lane, headed straight for them. My brother didn't have enough time to react, so he swerved to the right immediately carrying the mini van, with his wife and kids onboard, over the shoulder of the highway. In the blink of an eye they were off the road, and then right back onto the highway. The miracle was in the fact that the highway corner had no solid ground under it. There was a drop off right there at the same spot where my brother's Mini Van went off the road. He told me there was nothing under his tires but thin air. "God must have held our vehicle up as we swerved off the road", he said. But those feelings of security don't last forever. After you've trusted him for awhile, just as any good father does the Lord steps back just a little ways, to watch you standing on your new legs of faith. He must! It's necessary for you to practice trusting him as you grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. During these particular times the Lord allows your faith to be tested, to make it stronger. Sometimes it feels like God's not

with you anymore. But he's right there, holding you up in his arms. The trying of your faith works patience. When you suffer hardships, that's Jesus teaching you obedience. Let patience perform it's perfect work in you so you can learn to obey God fully. After you've suffered a little while, the Lord himself will establish, strengthen and settle you in your faith. Then you will lack nothing. I tell you the truth. My faith has not been strong since I began trusting him in 2005. Yet he keeps proving he's with me. Bad things happen to me at times, and I find myself questioning whether God's really protecting me, or not. I'll be misunderstood by a person, and then insulted by that same person, and I question whether God's protecting my reputation? Or my minivan will suddenly break down and the repair expenses are too high to pay.
The LORD is my shepherd, I Shall not want!
I realize, when It appears God is not providing my needs as he promised, it's because I need to be humbled, and to learn patience. I also need to be more unselfish, and to learn courage. So he gives me what I need, not always what I want. Lastly I realize I'm not the only one holding my faith steady. God is holding my faith steady by his Spirit. I fail Jesus daily. But Jesus remains faithful to me. I thank the Lord, that God has placed his Spirit in our hearts as a down payment, guaranteeing our adoption as sons, until Jesus returns to take us in his heavenly kingdom. So don't give up your faith in God. Hold onto your faith! No matter how dark the world looks, the LORD your God is with you until the End. Amen!
I can't see where the money is going to come. So I question if the Lord's going to provide my financial needs? During these times I know my faith should be stronger, but it isn't. I know I should live by faith and not by sight, but sometimes it's hard. Thank goodness the Lord is patient. And learning faith is a growing process. And yes, he has provided everything I needed for the duration of my life. The Lord Jesus has constantly watched out for me like a good shepherd.. He constantly protects me, he constantly provides my financial needs, he constantly provides my physical needs, and he faithfully leads me by his Spirit. Even when my faith fails, the Lord remains faithful. Someone might say, "But how come some Christians go hungry, or thirsty? How come some are cold and alone? And how come some die in their youth? Why didn't the LORD protect them? I can tell you God sees the future; he knew what those people needed, and he did protect them! Some suffered for doing right, others for sinning. Some needed to learn to rely on God more, and others turned their faith away from God.

TAX REDUCTION LAW CLARIFIES SENATE TEST VOTE AS TRUMP EYES "BIG The Republicans' plan to revise the nation's tax system cleared a key procedural hurdle in the Senate on Wednesday when President Trump introduced support for the law, calling it the "beginning of the next major chapter for the American worker.
"A voice to lower taxes is a vote to put America back in the first place," said the president in St. Louis. "We want to do that, we want to bring America back to the top, it's time to take care of our workers, protect our communities, and rebuild our great country."
" The bill went from 52 to 48 party votes, which allowed the senators to start a debate on the comprehensive legislation.
He also targeted Missouri's Democratic Senator, Claire McCaskill, a supreme Republican target in the 2018 midterm elections.
Before the vote on the floor, President Trump traveled to Missouri to gather support for the bill - and put pressure on Congress.
"Senator Claire McCaskill - have you ever heard of her? Do a tremendous disservice," said Trump. "She wants your taxes to rise, she's weak in crime, she's weak at borders, she's weak in illegal immigration, and she's weak in the military, besides that I think she does a fantastic job."
"Now comes the moment of truth," the president said during a rally in St. Louis. "In the coming days, the American people will learn which politicians are part of the swamp and which politicians want to drain the swamp." He said, "The eyes of the world are now turning to the United States Senate... A successful Senate vote this week will bring us a big step forward and bring a great victory for the American people." Speaking to the St. Charles Convention Center on Wednesday, the president said he was working to "drive our historic tax reduction plan across the finish line."
Critics say that both the House and Senate versions will disproportionately help the rich and the corporate world. But Trump on Wednesday argued that some very wealthy people - including themselves - do not like everything in the bill. "We'll also get rid of tax breaks and complex loopholes that the rich are taking advantage of... I think my accountants are going crazy now," he said. ISSUE 13 | DECEMBER CHRISTMAS EDITION

TAX REDUCTION LAW CLARIFIES SENATE TEST VOTE AS TRUMP EYES "BIG WIN" He added, "It's alright, Hey, look, I'm president, I do not care, I do not care anymore, I do not care, some of my wealthy friends take care of it, I do not care, it's a higher one Calling." The bill still faces hurdles in the Senate, where Republicans have only two votes left to beat their Democrats 52-48. "If they send it to my desk, I promise all the people in this room, my friends, so many friends in this room - a great state -1 promise you I'll sign it," Trump said. "I promise I will not refuse this bill, there will be no veto." It looks like the Senate's tax evasion plan is different from the version of the house. The two chambers would have to merge into a single law to get to President Trump's desk. Under the Senate bill, the standard deduction - the amount that reduces the amount of income American taxed - would rise to $ 12,000 for individual filers and $ 24,000 for married couples. In lowering the corporate tax rate, both chambers want to reduce the tax rate from 35 percent to 20 percent. However, the Senate measure would delay implementation by one year. The Senate's tax bill would eliminate state and local tax deductions, meaning that taxpayers in high-tax jurisdictions would lose depreciation. This would mainly affect blue states like California and New York. The Senate's tax bill also includes a lifting of the individual mandate to have the ObamaCare condition for Americans to have health. The Senate's tax reform measure would leave the mortgage quite alone, limiting it to $ 1 million. The house plan, on the other hand, would drastically reduce the ceiling on the popular deduction of mortgage rates to $ 500,000.

in desperate need of refuge and love. But as'The Gift" remains unopened, some acquaint themselves with the shackles of poverty, blind to the dimensions of prosperity, the warmth of peace, and the provision of His love. A current of deception, envy, and strife carries their perdition soul into eternal darkness. TheGift"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the L ORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD'S favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion-to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the L ORD, that He may be glorified". Isaiah 61:1-3 ESV The modern dictionary defines salvation as a "preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss".A synonym of salvation is "lifeline" which perfectly reveals to the Christian heart God's intended purpose in His Son Jesus Christ. "The Gift" of salvation is Qhe Savior, as His words found in the fifteenth chapter of John describe. "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and ever branch thatbeareth fruit, hepurgethit, that it may bring more fruit. Nowye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.John 15:1-5 KJV "Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for my soul. I cried to Him with my mouth, and high praise wan on my tongue." Psalm 66:16-17 Indulging a lifestyle of sexual uncleanness I mixed in rum, cigarettes, and drugs to wildly stimulate every sexual encounter. What many do not know is that I professed a relationship with Jesus during these years of drunkeÂťfornication. When I was around ten years old I asked Jesus into my heart and life. A year later I made a public confession of my internal commitment to Him through baptism, but ' in a short span of time I abandoned my relationship, treasuring a love for worldly pleasures. I was fifteen years old when I, like the Prodigal Son, began to "waste my substance with riotous living." Many years later I returned to the Lord after coming to my senses. I cried out, "Lord just take care of me." To my surprise "The Gift" was still waiting for me. The Lord's love never changed even though I was unfaithful. Soon after my return and I will never forget this, God spoke to my heart saying, "Where is your love?" That day and in that moment, sometime in the year of 2009,1 knew what He was after, my obedience. Recently I came across Romans 3:31: "Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law." For years I would claim salvation's guarantee regardless of my disobedience. I was confident that in the end I would see Jesus face to face and be ushered by Him into the Kingdom of heaven. I believed that there was no call to obedience, no call to obey God's holy standards. Ashamed, I used His grace as a license toÂŤin. The life I was living was in direct violation to God's holy standard-unused was His gift of grace. I was ignorant to what "The Gift" provided. I never put together His love, His grace. His body, His blood, His Spirit.^kl His commands. I did not understand that "The Gift" would chan^Pme to become obedient to His righteous moral standards. "Where is your love?"ln times of disobedience I refer to what the Lordsaid to me. Other times I have been caught up in the law of ordinances, desperately trying to traverse the paths of life in perfect Pharisaical glory. It is only when I am guided by the Holy Spirit do I truly understand what "The Gift" of salvation is: Justifiedbeing seen by God as righteousforgiven of all trespass. Sanctifiedbeing made holy and righteous. Equipped-given the Spirit of truth.
John 14:15says: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments". If when reading this you fail to digest the context of the Lord's teaching then you might follow the law to obtain righteousness. Found in this text is a truth that has sparked a confidence in my spirit, I pray will never be lost. Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us." Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does His works." John 14:8-10. No idle word was ever spoken by Christ but only what was spoken to Him by His Father. They were one just as we are one in Christ Jesus, and Jesus spoke these words to us from the Father. "Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you." John 15:1. Again these words from God stir my soul: "But the Father who dwells in me does His works." What work is being done in me since I am in Christ Jesus? Philippians 1:11 tells us that we are "filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God".The apostle Paul reveals to us in Romans 6:2 the impossibility of living in sin to those who have died to it."And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:16-17
It is evident that "The Gift" makes new the old wretch I was. Albeit, from time to time I have found myself in unbelief in my walk with Jesus, but I am comforted knowing that He is faithful and just to forgive when I confess my wrongdoing. However, I also recognize that I must continue to grow in the knowledge of Jesus and His grace. I find myself when following after the Spirt of God that the sinful passions aroused by the law no longer affect me. To this high mark I strive to be found in Him where victory continues to be my
"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."Romans 12:1-2 This Christmas you may not find a red enameled free stand mixer with a three piece pasta roller and cutter set under the tree, but if you have unwrapped "The Gift" of salvation you are free indeed this Christmas Season. Be blessed Body of Christ as we witness God's plan for man's sinful condition.

Great Bible Museum set to opened in Washington DC This Bible Museum has been proved that America is a Great Christian Nation under God
The Museum of the Bible is due to open just blocks away from Washington DC, Christian Times Magazine can report. WCPO reported that it is expected to cost taxpayers $500 million. It is the most recent edition to the U.S. Capitol's collection of museums. It will display more than 2,800 artefacts in a 430,000-square building. It is located to the south of Washington's National Mall esplanade that houses the Smithsonian museum complex, an enormous eight-foot institution which includes a ballroom, a performing arts hall and a biblical garden. Visitors are provided with the opportunity to tour a theatrical exhibit establishing what Nazareth may have looked like during Jesus' lifetime. Another area explains the evolution of the Old Testament, exhibiting artefacts and manuscripts provided by the Green family, who will be running the museum, as well as the Israeli Antiquities Authority. The British Museum and Paris Louvre are loaning items which will be on display in the museum. A 3,200-pound replica of the Liberty Bell will appear during the first exhibition. It had to be lowered into the building during its construction because it was so enormous. Another attraction isasoundscapeof the 10 plagues, with a glowing red light to symbolise when the River Nile turned to blood.

INSIDE THE BIBLE MUSEUM WASHINGTON DC PHOTO SOURCE: USA TODAY
The Great Bible Museum set to opened in Washington DC There is also a 'Washington Revelations' theatre ride, which takes museum-goers on a simulation flight over the U.S. Capitol, highlighting biblical references throughout the city. The 'impact' floor traces the Bible's societal influence on politics, education, music, movies and fashion, particularly about the stateside. A huge mural depicts pilgrims reading the Bible to Native Americans, weaves through portraits of suffragists and antislavery activists, and concludes with a picture of Doctor Martin Luther King Junior delivering his 'I Have a Dream' speech, which consists of numerous biblical references. Tiny placards also explain how the Bible used to justify both sides of the Civil War and contrasting views on African American slavery, as well as the enslavement of Native Americans. References to divisive topics like abortion or access to contraception have been purposefully excluded for the sake of attracting visitors. Tony Zeiss, the museum's executive director, told the Mail Online that they want to avoid any controversial topics, and that he intends to pique people's fascination. However, Candida Moss, co-author of the book Bible Nation: The United States of Hobby Lobby and a religious scholar at the University of Birmingham, says the museum provides visitors with the opportunity to delve into more complicated aspects of biblical history. She said it is not a simple case of just telling the story, but interpreting and wondering what's not in the Bible Museum. Ms Moss told the Mail Online that there is a narrow focus on American history, making faint reference to the Mormon branch of Christianity, the Ethiopia's Christian Churches. She also doubted the legitimacy of many the museum's relics, including fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which she claims many scholars agree are fraudulent. Lawrence Shiftman, a professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University and one of the institution's advisers, said the fragments may not be authentic, but stressed that research is underway. Gordon Campbell, a University of Leicester professor and leading historian at the museum, says he hopes Washington's newest museum will shine above the controversy. He wants the museum's historical purpose to focus on debate and not on the Greens. He said he hopes the project will succeed. Jim and Pam King, a sexagenarian couple who originated from Austin, Texas, and museum members, were invited to the previews. They described the museum as 'world class' and its location near federal government offices to them was a 'great statement.' But Joe Baden, a Yale Divinity School professor and fellow author of Bible Nation: The United States of Hobby Lobby, said the museum failed to reflect the full complexity of the Bible. He said the story they are telling is only about where American Protestants originated from. He told Reuters that it fails to consider the struggles of Roman Catholics, Jews, Muslims and Mormons. USA Today reported that the museum's entrance consists of two 40-foot brass replications of the Book of Genesis leading to a lobby that contains a 140-foot-long digital ceiling with revolving images of stained glass and landscapes. The museum will offer free admission. However, donations will be encouraged. The Museum of the Bible will be the biggest of its kind dedicated solely to the Judeo-Christian Holy Book. One section of the Bible has had a profound influence on past US presidents, such as Benjamin Franklin, who persuaded his fellow founders to follow the text's wisdom. Other displays will present the Bible's influence on world history, culture, science, art and literature. The museum will be hosting an opening black-tie gala on Thursday night at the International Hotel. It has been confirmed by the Washington Post that neither President Trump nor Vice President Mike Pence can attend the function. The Washington Post has revealed some tables at the fundraising event are
priced at $50,000 while the cheapest single admission ticket is priced at $2,500. The museum will contain one of the largest collections of Bibles and biblical artifacts from across the globe. The Mail Online reported that the new building was the subject of considerable controversy last weekend, following a $3 million smuggling case and a row over its founders' views on birth control. Its billionaire evangelical Christian backer, Steve Green, is infamous for his outspoken opinions on contraception. Earlier this year, the company came under attack for illegally importing approximately 5,500 artifacts, which included ancient clay cuneiform tablets that had been smuggled out of Iraq. After suggesting the purchase was decided due to simple naivety, Hobby Lobby agreed to forfeit the pieces and pay a $3 million settlement. Due to the Greens' Christian beliefs and the smuggling scandal that engulfed the project, skeptics questioned both the museum's ideological aim and the provenance of its antiquities, more than 500 of which are on display on the museum's history section. Mr. Green, who manages the museum's board, stated he aims to only present the facts. He told the Mail Online this is a journalistic view of the Bible and that the project's intention is not to espouse his family's faith. The devout Christian confirmed he is inviting people to engage with the Bible so that everybody can come and celebrate the text. In 2014, conservatives celebrated at the Supreme Court when it ruled that the Oklahoma-based retailer and Conestoga Wood Specialties could refuse to cover contraceptives in employees' health insurance due to the owners' religious beliefs. Analysis: The Museum of the Bible reaffirms the Bible's place in American history Considering how far the United States has come as a nation since its foundation during the Declaration of Independence in 1776, it is sometimes easy to forget that the nation's history revolves around religion. And the purpose behind the Museum of the Bible is to remind Americans that, even though the Bible has been used as an excuse to oppress people from different minorities, the United States is still fundamentally a Christian nation. In recent years, religion has not played a significant role in American history and politics, that is even though many Americans claim they have a religious affiliation of some sort. 83 per cent of Americans who participated in an ABC poll described themselves as Christian. For the last eight years, the conservative right has been shunned out of power during the Obama years. Obama never expressed any profound love for religion and there were many Americans who suspected that he is a Kenyan-born Muslim who represents everything America does not. In American Christians' eyes, he trapped many Americans in welfare, weakened the United States' position in the world and jeopardised people's healthcare plans at the expense of the wealthiest in society through Obamacare. Racial divisions intensified under his presidency and the Trump administration has been left to try and heal American divisions, although arguably, his presidency has made them worse. The recent sex scandals have shown how far Hollywood has moved away from traditional Christian, and even moral, values. These beliefs can act as a cornerstone for guidance in any Western society and celebrities seem to have forgotten them once they enter the corridors of power. Since this decade started, many millennials in the United States have become obsessed with ideas of socialism and gender neutrality, which betrays everything Christian Americans believe in. To them, God created men and women. For the first time since the Obama years, Christians have a president in Donald Trump who they feel speaks to them and represents their best interests. Some of them view him as a saviour from God. That is why it is fitting that this museum has opened during his presidency, even if neither him nor his Vice President, Mike Pence, are able to attend the opening. It will annoy many Americans who cherish leftwing values and offend those who despise what the Bible stands for, but this museum will gradually remind the United States of its traditional roots at a time it has moved further away from them. "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6). Isaiah the prophet prophesied the birth of the coming Messiah who would be called the prince of peace. In our sinful state, we are enemies with God (Romans 5:10). "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). Because of Christ's sacrifice, we are restored to a relationship of peace with God. More foundational meaning of peace is "the spiritual harmony brought about by an individual's restoration with God." In a world filled with war and violence, everybody want peace but without Jesus Christ not possible because practically Jesus give a formula to make peace do not kill others on the name of peace rather sacrifice yourself for others. Luke 6:29 Jesus said if someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. This is the amazing teaching by prince of peace, friends just think about it if someone slaps me on one cheek and I react same mean no peace. If you are believer of Jesus Christ everybody should be save from your eyes, your hands and your tongue. Matt. 5:9 Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, because they will be called sons of God". Only children of God can bring the peace of knowing God to others. A person must have a real relationship
with God before he or she can help someone else know God. Those who witness for Christ, share their faith with their friends, and serve others in the name of Christ are the ambassadors for peace this verse identifies (see also Matthew 10:41-42). Those who bring the wonderful message of God's peace to the world are "peacemakers," and Jesus calls them the "children of God." We are Thankful to God he gave us Kind heart US president Mr. Donald J Trump he bring a big change in USA to make the land of God where everybody feel peace, and I hope to other countries as well. Christ In All The Scriptures By David Clarke
My answer to those who deny that Moses was the author of the book of Genesis. I am speaking to my son, Isaac John Clarke, who lives in Vietnam, and denies that Moses is the author of the book of Genesis. And by author I mean he compiled it and published it as the truth of God. It has always been attributed, by the Jewish people and Christians, to Moses as the author. My son had assurted and denied and that Moses was nether author nor writer of the book of Genesis. This came after I had quoted certain scriptures that supported my view that Moses was the author of Genesis. I quoted from Gen. 3:15, Rom 16 and Luke 24, to show Jesus and the Apostles believed Moses wrote Genesis. Gen 3:15. (And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. And Rom 16:20 (And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. And Luke 24:44 (And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. I stated that the crushing or bruising of the the serpents head it was to demonstrate Jesus and his disciples all believed Moses wrote Genesis and they took the writings of Moses as gospel truth. I said the bible does not say who wrote the book of Hebrews but its style and teachings all point to Paul. But we have much more and real evidence from scripture that Jesus and the Apostles believed Moses was the author of the book Genesis. It may be considered as a fact that, the Jews, the Prophets, Jesus, the Apostles and Christians all acknowledge that Moses was the author of the book of Genesis. If one accepts this as a fact then tradition may carry this view forward. The tradition does not make it a fact. I believe Jesus died and rose again. Tradition says Jesus died and rose again. Tradition does not make it a fact or reality. Fact is one thing tradition another. The teachings of Jesus and His Apostles of Christ are what we want and not tradition. They all taught Moses was the author of Genesis it so happens and so does tradition. So don't throw away Esther's baby and your nephew with the bath water. Tradition does not make the fact. Tradition may be false or true. Since the 18C, and more recently then 19 C, both evolution and Higher Criticism have challenged the and reliability of the Bible and in particular the book of Genesis. It also seems to me that it is becoming, or has become, TRADITION to reject the book of Genesis and its authorship and even the historic truth of it. I then put to him that the underlying reason for this rejection is to call into question the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, his teachings, work and purpose. In other words, the voice of the serpent is still being listened too, who said to Eve" Ye Hath God said?' Evolution and Higher Criticism are not science but conjectures and unproven theories and used to overthrow the bible.l then said that I would be surprised to find anyone who has accepted these theories, which are contrary to science and facts, to have any real knowledge of the person of the Jesus Christ, salvation from sin, death and hell, and are able to give a reason for the hope that is within them. 1 Pet 3:15-16.1 then sent him a video to show a woman speaking and teaching these
false doctrines contrary to the bible. Here is the link Documentary Hypothesis - Vandivier https://youtu.be/0OgeXyA8XNk This video demonstrates a woman teaching the very errors we are speaking about. Without raising the issue of what scripture teaches about the conduct of women in the church 1 Timothy 2:12. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. I now think it has become a TRADITION to deny the authorship of the book of Genesis and to say the books of Moses were not written by him in order to accommodate the error of Higher Criticism an evolution. If we deny these simple truths given to us in the scripture, it opens a persons mind to reject the gospel of Christ. To deny his reality, existence and who and what he did and does. In order to understand the gospel, we need to believe the Gospel as a child. In order to benefit from the realities taught in the scripture, we need be certain about the infallibility and teaching of Jesus Christ. He believed in Moses and the worldwide flood of Noah. If you can't believe Moses, who wrote of Christ, you won't believe in the infallible teaching of Jesus Christ. Evolution and Higher Criticism are false science and there is plenty of scientific material available on creation, the worldwide flood of Noah and dinosaur bones that scientifically confirm the book of Genesis the Noadic flood as fact, if you care to look all of which refute the objections of those who want to throw away the book Genesis, its teaching and historical facts. I have sent my son this book, as a present, I am sure he will appreciate it Documentary Hypothesis - Vandivier youtube.com https://www.amazon.co.uk/Christ-Scriptures-Begining-atMoses/dp/1978300999/ref=sr_1 _ 1 ? s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1511630642&sr=11&keywords=Christ+in+the+scriptures+david+clarke Include the links and name of the video if you can

The Gospel Message Proclaim All the Time The Gospel Message was proclaimed at the birth of our Lord Jesus. It lies at the very heart of our Christian faith and it is the very essence of our faith. For it is the message of Good News, God entering our world in and through the life, ministry and supreme sacrifice of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, showing that God's love, compassion, mercy, forgiveness and faithfulness has no boundaries whatsoever. So what is this Gospel Message? I will attempt to set out how I would expound and proclaim it. I would start with Genesis 1:27 where the writer of genesis states very clearly that both man and woman was made in the image of God. This means that a man and woman are blessed with God's attributes. The Bible is consistently clear that God is full of kindness, compassion, faithfulness, thoughtfulness, mercy, forgiveness and full of love. These are gifts he has also given to each and every one of us The Bible is also clear that God is slow to anger but he does get angry and so do we. Hence man and woman were made in the image of God himself. In addition, what he also gave was the gift of 'free will', the ability whereby we can choose how to behave whether it be selfishly or always to have consideration for others. History clearly shows that mankind chose the way of greed and selfishness which certainly does not reflect being created in the image of God. Mankind, in fact, turned away from God. But God did not give up on mankind and Christmas celebrates the birth of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, whom he sent into the world to show mankind the ways of God's love and forgiveness. This is recorded in the four Gospels and in the gospels of Matthew and Luke we have accounts of the birth of Jesus. In the Gospel of Matthew we have the account of the birth of Jesus and the visit of the Magi or astrologers at his birth. They presented him with gifts of gold, incense and myrrh. The gift of gold was to emphasise his princely role as the Prince of Peace. Whilst being God's Son, he was not coming as a warrior prince but to establish peace on earth in the hearts of all who would receive it. The gift of incense emphasises Christ's priestly role. He will intercede with God on behalf of mankind. In effect, Christ also came as a 'bridge builder', not simply to bring people closer to God but to actually bring them to God. In our ordinary daily life, we know that bridges are important in that they make life so much easier because they bring places, and more importantly, people, closer together. When I entered Bristol Baptist College in September 1966 to train for the ministry, it coincided with a huge important event which was the opening of the first Severn Bridge. What a hugely important event that was because it brought thousands of people closer together. Jesus built a bridge which would take everyone who accepted God's love and forgiveness straight into the heart and love of God. The third gift was that of myrrh which was a fragrant gum resin often used for embalming. This signified the 'sacrificial role' of Jesus whereby he would be offered up as the Supreme Sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. When Jesus was nailed to that cross all our sins were nailed with him so that God's forgiveness would be received to all who would accept it.
In the Gospel of Luke we have the record of the Christmas Message being delivered to the shepherds. The time of year must have been the summer as the shepherds were out in the field at night. What strikes me about Luke's account is that the Gospel Message was first delivered to the shepherds. They held jobs that were regarded as the lowest of the law. Especially during the summer and autumn months they were never in a position to observe the Jewish laws of cleansing. It was their duty to look after their flock from one day to the next and from one week to the next. Consequently, whilst they may have been able to have a little wash, in all probability a bath was out of the question and they simply 'stank' which is probably why they were regarded as the lowest of the low. Yet, in Luke's Gospel, it was to the shepherds that the Gospel Message was first delivered. So, what does this mean? It means that the Gospel Message discriminates against no one. All, no matter who or what they are, who accepts God's love shown in Jesus is accepted by God himself. There is no discrimination The Gospel of Mark is written in a hurry. Mark was so enthusiastically dedicated to proclaiming the Message of the Gospel that he did not want it lost. In effect, his account links up with Luke's Gospel in proclaiming John the Baptist as the one who would 'prepare the way for Jesus' by preaching the baptism of repentance. All is culminated in the Gospel of John who has been regarded as John the Theologian. The opening of John's Gospel seems, on the surface, so different to the three previous Gospels. However, the more I consider it the more I see that John's Gospel encapsulates the message of the three previous Gospels. In the opening verse he emphasises that Jesus is the very 'word'. In other words, he is the actual mind and reason of God who was in the beginning with God. God's only begotten Son and in him was God's life and that life was the light to all who would accept him and he would lead everyone to God's love and forgiveness. By accepting Jesus and his message of Salvation we actually become children of God. The very mind of God became flesh and made his dwelling amongst us, full of God's grace and truth. But the Gospel message does not end there. God's only begotten Son was to be offered up as the Supreme Sacrifice by crucifixion for the sins of all mankind which were nailed with him to the tree. Furthermore, Jesus knew that he was going to defeat death and the grave by his resurrection on the third day. This means that we not only enjoy the experience of sins forgiven but we also share in our Lord's victory over sin and the grave and has turned our lives completely around. Our life has a new meaning, purpose and direction. Christ has laid the all important bridge, giving our lives an eternal direction to God's heart and his eternal kingdom. We can then truly say with the Apostle, Paul, "I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenwards in Christ Jesus."
