Welcome to the 2023 Langco/Kueber bull sale. I hope 2022 was good for everyone involved with agriculture. With good calf prices along with good grain prices plus having something in the bin to sell! I consider this year’s sale offering to be the best to date, featuring bulls from 3 new herd sires, Coleman John Wayne, Coleman Encore, and Peakdot Roughrider. Each bull has done an exceptional job here at Langco. We don’t sell a lot of bulls but we feel the quality runs deep. These extra aged bulls are developed slower to be in this sale specifically as a 2 year old bull. No carryover yearlings and no feet trimmed. They are what they are, just good honest bulls, no “huff and puff”. New for this year’s sale: No Covid! So we look forward to seeing you in person on February 10th. In the summer of 2019 we were touring the pasture at Coleman Angus and came across a calf that Gracie and I fell in love with. Later that winter, we had the opportunity to purchase him, and he continues to impress us. His calves are born easily, are up and sucking and show great instinct. His combination of calving ease, thickness and moderate frame has us eagerly looking forward to adding his maternal power to the cow herd. TERMS: The terms of sale are cash or cheque. All cattle must be settled for at the conclusion of the auction. Cattle will not be released from the sale premises until payment is received in full, unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale with the individual contributor. Every animal sells to the highest bidder, in the case of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final, and becomes the risk of the purchaser. We reserve the right to withhold animals from shipment for whom payments have not been received prior to departure times.
BUYERS REGISTRATION: Buyers please register for a buyer number at the office prior to purchasing.
BREEDING GUARANTEE: All bulls are guaranteed to be fertile & reproductively sound in accordance with the rules & regulations recommended by the breed associations. All bulls will be semen tested.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Errors in this catalogue will be corrected by announcements from the block at sale time & such announcements will take precedent over any printed material. Any disputes will be settled by the auctioneer.

Welcome to our 10th Annual Bull Sale held at the Viking Auction Market. Once again, we are happy to team up with the Lang family to present a set of functional, useable cattle that are ready to work in their respective environments this spring.
Within our 2023 offering we feel we have a uniform group of smooth made, calving ease bulls that are structurally correct and do not sacrifice shape or performance. Each of the bulls in the sale is out of a “flat-out-good” angus cow. Throughout the footnotes you will see added information on each lot to help describe our program and inform your breeding decisions. We emphasize on cow families and have expanded our herd in recent years through the use of embryo transfer. Genetic selection each spring is based on actual data, actual phenotype and genetics we have seen in production.

The bulls selling have been managed for a conservative gain with longevity and integrity in mind. In preparation for the sale, picturing of the bull pen was a bit rushed during the polar vortex mid December and we would like to invite our customers to view the bulls continued development in their home environment prior to the sale.
