‘Knitting nanas’ appeal for wool A group of real life ‘knitting nanas’ are appealing for donations of wool to help them make bonnets and blankets for babies in Africa. Affectionately named after the grannies in the Shreddies cereal advert, the group meet every Tuesday at Bournville House in Telford. They’d like to make more clothing for charity Greenfield Africa but they need donations of knitting wool.

If you can help, or have ideas for projects the ‘knitting nanas’ could do, call Danielle from Bournville House, on 0121 667 1022.
