The new MeoStar R1 1.5-6x42 RD with Day / Low-Light illumination is for the hunter who wants to “multi-task” as well outdoors as he does in the workplace. One of the most versatile hunting riflescopes on the market, Meopta’s new Day/ Low Light illumination will keep all of your shooting options available, regardless of the conditions. A third turret adjustment allows for simple, control of the intensity of your illuminated reticle. Seven-steps are broken down so you have the right option available to you, at the right moment. Levels 1-3 are for shooting in low-light conditions just after dusk, when the last rays of light let you distinguish the antlers on the trophy of a lifetime. Turn the power up to levels 5-7 when intensity is crucial and you want to make sure you are dead-on-target and are shooting in bright sunlit conditions. With convenient half-click on/off positions, you don’t need to worry about re-adjusting intensity settings after a break in hunting. • Lightweight, one-piece main tube formed from aircraft grade aluminium alloys • Rugged internal adjustment system withstands the demands of the heaviest caliber rifles. • Proprietary Meobright 550 lens coatings provide superior light transmission when it matters most • Versatile riflescope for all your big-game hunting needs

MeoStar R1 1-4x22 RD

MeoStar R1 3-12x56 RD / MeoStar R1r 3-12x56 RD

MeoStar R1 1-4x22 The MeoStar R1 1-4x22 model with illuminated K-Dot reticle is specifically designed for hunting in the daytime as well as low light situations. A riflescope versatile enough for use as a dangerous game hunting scope as it is in close quarter combat situations. At maximum intensity, the K-Dot reticle is visible in sunny conditions, while at its lowest settings, still ideal for late dawn or early dusk. With magnification set to 1x power and the reticle illuminated, the riflescope may be used a short range, close quarter sighting device, by allowing the user to keep both eyes open. This allows for a clear, substantially improved field of view while also providing quick target acquisition. The illumination adjustment (located to the left of the elevation turret) offers seven levels of intensity (with seven being the brightest) with half-click on/off positions. Off positions are signified by a dot, while numbers 1-7 indicate the illumination intensity. This unique feature allows for a quick return to the previously used intensity instead of having to cycle thru the entire adjustment range each time the illumination is turned off. The service life of the CR 2354 battery (included) is roughly 80 continuous hours, while a more readily available CR 2032 battery may also be used, however the service life is only about 60 continuous hours. The MeoStar R1 RD 7x56 and 3-12x56 models are designed for hunting in extreme low light conditions at early dawn or late dusk. Many prized animals can only be found moving about during these difficult low light conditions, and the MeoStar R1 RD models will help ensure that you do not miss out on the potential trophy of a lifetime.

Tactical Riflescopes MeoStar R1 Tactic

Tactical riflescopes ZD

Tactical Riflescopes MeoStar R1 Tactic became the base for the emergence of a new group of tactical rifle-scopes, which now includes two new models- ZD 6-24x56 and ZD 1-4x22. These rifle-scopes are designed primarily for professional shooters, armed forces and military per-sonnel but their unique features are now available to the avid hunter.

ZD 1-4x22 combines the needs of aiming when shooting at short distances with a simple and quick setting focus to bigger distances. Clearly illuminated aiming mark is visible in all light conditions. Thanks to the collimator function at magnification 1x and illuminated red dot the scope is suitable for shooting with both eyes open, which is perfect for shooting on the move. • Universal riflescope for shooting at short and medium distances • Tube made of special aluminum alloy • Seven levels of illumination • Can be used as a collimator • Suitable for automatic firearms • Excellent light transmission • Designed for extreme conditions and tough demands • Rapid adjustment changes made possible by tri-cornered elevation and windage adjustment turrets.

Reach out and touch something. That is the goal in mind when you want to make that extra long shot and have to be dead-on target. We have designed the MeoStar R1 4-16x44 to meet the needs of serious long-range shooters. Low-profile target turrets offer 42 MOA adjustment and an adjustable objective with parallax settings from three meters to infinity ensure that the shooter will be able to achieve exact, repeatable results with every squeeze of the trigger. Available with either Mil Dot or Z-Plex II etched glass reticles, the entire 30mm premium grade optics package is fully multi-coated with MeoBrite 5501 to ensure brilliant, crystal clear images across the entire field of view. When serious situations call for nothing but the most exacting performance, the MeoStar R1 4-16x44 is the riflescope of choice.

Use of Mil-Dot style cross-hairs The dots placed on the stadia equal an angle of 1 m at 1000 m, or 1 milliradian. In military terminology this angle is called 1 mil. The distance D can be determined by a simple calculation using the formula D = 1000 x H / h, where H stands for the actual target height in meters and h stands for its angular height in scale divisions. For very precise range finding it is therefore necessary to know the exact target height. With experience in approximate target size, very accurate estimates of the distance to the target can be made. With an adult Roebuck body trunk height estimated to be 0.5 m and as seen in the illustration the distance is calculated as follows: D = 1000 x 0.5 / 6 = 83 m. Caution! The above method of range finding provides correct results only with riflescope set on the maximum magnification, i.e. 16x.

ZD 6-24x56RD The new riflescope ZD 624x56 is designed for serious long-range shooting. A wide range of adjustment (based on bullet ballistics) allows the shooter to achieve extended distances according to the rifle and ammunition utilized. Extensive light transmission and a special ballistic MIL-DOT 2 reticle is used for precise target acquisition, even in poor lighting con-ditions. • Designed for long-range shooting • Side turret parallax adjustment • Smart Reticle illumination in two modes • Automatic battery shut off plus , battery indicator • Ideal for.308, .338 WLM calibers or similar • Robust range of adjustment enclosed in 30mm main tube (80MOA) • Rectangle rectifying characteristics 80MOA x 30MOA • Step Adjustable ¼ MOA • Excellent light transmission • Designed for extreme conditions and demands • Range-finding scale at 12x magnification

Artemis 2100 7x50

Artemis 2100 3-12x50

The Artemis 2100 series offers an illuminated center dot for hunting in low light conditions. The illumination of the center dot under normal daylight conditions is observable only when set on intensity level 6 or 7, so that no matter how small the target is, it will not be overwhelmed or lost in the brightness of the dot when illuminated. The brightness levels can be adjusted with the knob on the left side of the elevation turret in seven steps marked 1-7 (with 7 being the brightest). The interpositions marked with a dot, provide an interim off position between each intensity level, allowing for quick, single click on and off operation. The service life of the original battery, a CR2354, is roughly 80 hours. It is also possible to use a more readily available battery, the CR2032, which has a service life of about 60 hours.

Riflescopes - reticle chart

Reticle in front or rear focal plane

MeoStar, Tactical riflescopes, MeoPro, Artemis

Placement of the reticle (crosshairs) in the front focal plane (behind the objective lens) means that with increased magnification both the target image and the reticle thickness increase (Artemis 2000, 2100; MeoStar R1 3-12x56 model offer front focal plain reticles). Placing the reticle in the rear focal plane (in front of the eyepiece) allows the reticle to maintain its virtual size throughout the entire magnification range. (The MeoStar series offer the reticle in the rear focal plain) So shortly: • all fixed magnification riflescopes are not affected by the reticle position • a reticle positioned in the front focal plane enables the user to use the reticle distance estimation scale and opitches of thick lines for measuring distance at any magnification.

Use of the distance scale with 4A, 4B reticles To use the distance scale in your riflescope, simply line up the target or the portion of the target, whose height you estimate to be 0.5 m (this dimension is indicated by the number 0.5 to the left of the scale), on the bottom line in the ranging scale. Once you have done this then the number that coincides with the top of your target indicates the targets distance in hundreds of meters. For example, if the body trunk height of an adult Roebuck is estimated to be 0.5 m, then as seen in the illustration this Roebuck is approximately 200 meters away from the shooter.

Quadratic course of adjustment means that windage and elevation adjustments are mutually independent and as such, guarantees a full range of movement in any direction. The illustration below shows a comparison of a full range of adjustment for a Meopta riflescope and a ,no-name” riflescope. You can see that in some areas the adjustment range of the “no name ”exceeds the Meopta range. However, in important (especially in the diagonal or windage direction) directions it attains insufficient adjustment range. Irregular circumference of the adjustment field of the “no name” scope indicates that horizontal and vertical movements are not independent (especially in extreme positions) and are each affected when only one is adjusted, i.e., when turning the windage adjustment knob the reticle also moves in the vertical or elevation direction.

MeoStar R1r 3-12x56 Completing our renowned MeoStar line is the MeoStar R1r series of 3-12x56 riflescopes. With reticle placement in the second focal plane, the R1r 3-12x56 rounds out the family of MeoStar R1 riflescopes which similarly all feature second (non-magnifying) focal plane reticle placement. The original MeoStar R1 3-12x56 line is the only set of MeoStar scopes to offer first (magnifying) focal plane reticle placement.

Digiscoping

TGA 75

Meopta DP1 The design of our TGA 75 draw tube spotting scope offers superior light transmission, edge to edge image resolution and clarity, stemming from our fully multi coated lenses and prisms. The draw tube design allows for quick set up, using an 1/4“ or 3/4“ tripod mount, or simply a rock or tree for support. The TGA 75 has a secure grip and provides smooth and precise focusing. This collapsible (9.5 inches) and easy to carry light weight (40.6 ounce) scope is ideal for use in the field and especially on the move! The noise and shock dampening rubber armor makes this water and dust resistant scope extremely rugged and a must for any serious backpacker or hunter. The eyepieces for Meopta TGA 75 and MeoStar S1 75 are mutually interchangeable except for the 30x WA-R ranging eyepiece, which can only be used with the TGA 75.

Meopta DP1 30x High quality digiscoping has never been as easy and affordable as it is with the new Meopta DP1 30x eyepiece. The Meopta DP1 30x eyepiece enables you to capture an image while still observing the image through the eyepiece. You do not have to interrupt your observation to take a picture, nor do you need to invest in an expensive device that merges those two functionalities. All you need is your favorite digital camera, fitted to the Meopta DP1 30x eyepiece by means of the camera’s tripod thread. Then, simply observe and capture images as you desire.

Meopta DP1 30x eyepiece fits most compact digital cameras with an optical zoom span of up to 6x. The Meopta DP1 30x does not work with SLR and DSLR cameras. In many instances, pictures will be bordered by a black frame with rounded corners. This is normal, but can be edited using any photo editing software, if so desired. For best results, it is important to minimize vibrations in your digiscoping set-up. A solid tripod is a must, while a remote shutter release offers a significant advantage.

Photoadapter Meopta Digiscoping with DSLR cameras • The Meopta Photoadapter is designed for digiscoping with single lens reflex (SLR) cameras. The Photoadapter transforms your MeoStar spotting scope into an 800mm telephoto lens. • A T-ring is used to connect the standardized thread of the Photoadapter to your camera’s body. T-rings are brand specific and can be purchased for your brand of camera at any good camera shop. • Compatible with most SLR and DSLR cameras

Meopta H75 30x WA-R The Meopta H75 30x WA-R is a fixed power wide-angle eyepiece, which has been designed for the TGA 75. What makes this eyepiece unique is that it has been fitted with a ranging reticle (cross) enabling the user to estimate the distance of the object being observed. Use of the ranging reticle to estimate distance: The dash lines placed from top to bottom on thin lines subtend the angle of 1m at 1000 m, i.e. 1 milliradian. In military terminology this angle is called 1 mil. The distance D can be determined by a simple calculation using the formula D = 1000 x H / h, where H stands for the actual target height in meter and h stands for its angular height in scale divisions. For precise range finding it is necessary for the user to know the exact or estimated target height. For example, the estimated height of an adult Roebuck body trunk is 0.5 m and with angular height in the reticle screen as seen in the illustration below the distance is calculated as follows: D = 1000 x 0,5 /h = 125 m.

KODAS (Club for Protection of Birds of Prey and Owls, branch of Children of the Earth) is a non-profit group of people who are extremely concerned with the fate of endangered birds of prey and owls. They realize the dire situations of these birds and have banded together to change this dismal state. In all KODAS projects, they strive to create conditions where birds of prey and owls can return to their environment, protect their nests during nesting times and to change the general attitude towards these amazing and graceful birds. The main objective of the Falco project is to provide vigilant protection to endangered nests of rare birds of prey within the framework of Action Falco and Action Aquila. The secondary mission is to monitor areas where illegal bird trafficking is at its worst and to bring light to these so-called “bird crimes”. For observing nests and birds KODAS uses Meopta MeoStar S1 spotting scopes and MeoStar B1 binoculars

Located in Přerov, ORNIS is a long-standing partner of Meopta focusing in ornithological studies. Meopta is proud to supply binoculars and spotting scopes to ornithological institutions across the globe to aid in their efforts to learn about and preserve our bird populations.
