WE ARE NEW YORK CITY

The Community-Based Mentoring Program is our traditional one-toone mentoring program, where Bigs and Littles use New York City as their playground for personal, academic, and social development. Matches adventure on outings together while working toward achieving S.M.A.R.T. goals that range from self-confidence to relationship building. Big Narmeen and Little Allure, though only matched for six months, immediately connected over their shared passions for advocating for others and finding new opportunities that push them out of their comfort zones. Together, they have already gone bowling in Chelsea Piers, explored the New Museum, painted pottery, and worked on goals related to organization, problem solving, and positive thinking. Allure invited Narmeen to her eighthgrade graduation, where she proudly introduced her Big to her friends.
