Your face is the most affected area due to pollution which causes skin problems like acne, tanned skin, and black heads and white heads too. Now We bet you thought that blackheads and white heads are the exact same! Umm… NO! All this while you were so wrong!

The real difference between blackheads and whiteheads: Blackheads and whiteheads are both clogged pores but their pore openings are different. In a blackhead, the pore at the surface of the skin is open. These pores are filled with oil and dead skin but are open on top. The skin is exposed to environmental pollutants that ultimately cause the bacteria inside the skin to oxidise and darken. A whitehead, on the other hand, is a clogged pore but here, the pore is closed leaving no room for air to enter it. Hence, the debris inside remains white. Moreover, whiteheads are a tad more sensitive than blackheads and are bigger in terms of size too.

5 DIY Scrubs: 1. Lemon and salt scrub: This lemon and salt face scrub is also known as the antibacterial face scrub. It uses two super blackhead fighting ingredients: lemon and salt.
