These 4 DIY dry shampoos are so easy you won’t believe! Washing your hair everyday is obviously not possible. Plus it even makes your hair brittle. Also when you take a hair wash everyday, your hair loses it’s natural oils, and this can make it dry. So what do you do when you have an oily scalp? Use dry shampoos! Buying one can be a task. So why not make it at home?


DIY dry shampoos: 1. CORNSTARCH DRY SHAMPOO: Add just a little bit of cornstarch to your roots. Then, blend it through your hair. Finally, brush the cornstarch out of your hair. The cornstarch soaks up the oil and dirt — which you remove when you brush the cornstarch out of your hair. Tip: Add some essential oils to the cornstarch so that your hair starts smelling good!

2. CHEESECLOTH DRY SHAMPOO: This one doesn’t even require any ingredients from the kitchen. Instead, all it requires is a piece of cheesecloth. Wrap the cheesecloth around a wide natural bristle brush and then brush your hair. The cheesecloth will remove any dirt and oil from your hair. 3. COCOA POWDER DRY SHAMPOO : This doesn’t need anything else! Yes! Just cocoa powder and your are done! This shampoo is especially for black colored hair or dark browns. massage the cocoa powder on your roots and you are done! Tip: Use unsweetened cocoa powder or else it will make your hair a sticky mess!


4. BABY POWDER DRY SHAMPOO: Of course, baby powder is probably the most common and well-known method for making your own dry shampoo. Some people rub it on to their roots and others mix it along with baking soda. Tip: Avoid using baking soda because as per studies, it makes your hair dry. Application: Dry shampoo is always applied at the roots of the hair. Use a brush or a comb and separate sections of your hair, shaking the powder onto your scalp. Massage it into the surrounding hair and let it sit for approximately two minutes–just enough time to absorb all that oil! When you’re finished brush the dry shampoo through your hair until it is no longer visible. Pro tip: Store your dry shampoo in a mason jar. It becomes easy to apply.
